Interesting place. Asian with a Mexican twist.

Recommend reservations as the place seemed popular. Atmosphere was bar-like and some dark.

It's the greatest hole in the wall you will walk into. Small space but the food is definitely worth it. By far one of the best ramen places. Everything complements each other: the noodles, the broth the shachu. I enjoy the regular tonkatsu but my husband loves the spicy tonkatsu because it's not overwhelming., even thought it's spicy is still enjoyable.

I’ve been a fan of ebaes for a long time. It’s been a ritual for me and my housemates every 1st of the month. We are all vegetarians and love the veggie ramen. We ask to get Diablo in it ( it’s the chilli oil or something they add to make it spicy). A fan favourite and home to all USC students.

The sushi is kind of mediocre for its price, but the bowls are more worth it.

The shrimp coconut ramen here is excellent, and the sushi selection is also worth trying. On the 1st of the month, the ramen is 50% off, but payment is cash only.

Food and vibes were awesome! It’s the perfect hang out if you’re a student with some friends, it’s just a tight spot so it’s difficult sitting ! the $10 ramen at the beginning of the month is also such a steal it’s soooo good

Delicious ramen. Very polite wait staff even though it was late and the restaurant was busy. Can't wait to return here.

I visited this restaurant twice, and both experiences were nothing short of a disaster. If supermarket Sushi were a 6/10 this is a 3. GROSS.

The sushi here is utterly disappointing, far from fresh with a dull, almost lifeless taste. The sauces lack any real depth of flavor, and the fish just doesn't deliver on taste, making each bite a letdown. It seems that no matter when you order, they manage to mess it up. Even basic requests, like providing cutlery, are simply ignored.

On one particularly frustrating visit, my ramen order sat untouched for over 40 minutes, only to arrive stone cold. When I called to check on the delay, I was brushed off with a half-hearted excuse that they were “busy.” It’s clear that customer service is not a priority here.

This restaurant exudes a sense of neglect and indifference, a far cry from establishments that care about their food and their patrons. There are much better spots in the area, so do yourself a favor and avoid Ebaes entirely.
