Whoever started only filling the aioli sauce halfway, your mom’s a… you know. If I’m paying 50 cents for a cup of this sauce, I expect it to be filled. So instead of having one, I now have to get two just to completely eat my burrito. Y’all know what you’re doing. Stop being greedy and give me my gd aioli sauce.

Be careful eating here, as I ordered a Spicy Royal Burrito and then almost immediately after, began to feel nauseous, followed by vomiting. It was definitely the burrito that came up, nothing else. So idk if it was made with bad meat, or if the food was mishandled as in someone didn't wash their hands properly, etc, but I was once a regular at this establishment and I don't think I can be after what just happened. I the food here is a bit pricey for them to be slipping up and mishandling the food that way. I think I'm gonna have to be cool on Egg Tuck for a while. This was my first time eating there since returning from my several-weeks-long trip to Japan, so I don't know if my body is just noticing the difference in quality of food? I really don't know. But I don't think I will eat here anymore after what happened. I'm afraid to.

I tried the basic egg sandwich at Egg Tuck, and it was pretty solid. The packaging was brilliant, with a thick slice of brioche bread, sliced almost all the way through to form a pocket for the egg and cheese. The egg was light, fluffy, and delicious.
I also had the tater tots, which came separately in a box and were piping hot - honestly, the highlight of the meal. Next time, I’m definitely getting the tater tot + egg combo.
The restaurant itself isn’t in the nicest neighborhood, and when I visited, I was the only one eating inside. That said, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed.

My friend and I ended up here on a Sunday morning when we attempted to go to Jacks N Joe adjacent to Egg Tuck’s plaza only to find out it was closed. The egg and bread are both very fluffy and I love how reasonable the prices are. Service is fast and I like how you order on Toast and can customize everything. Affordable breakfast spot near USC!!

I saw a recommendation for this place on TikTok, but I was actually pretty disappointed. I got the avocado and egg sandwich on the brioche bread and I really don’t think it had much flavor. Maybe adding some type of meat would have helped with that but I didn’t think it was worth the price.
