A literal hole in the wall in comparison to the glitzy show stoppers around its corners that are Verve and Blue Bottle, Eightfold is incredibly low key and unassuming. I’m embarrassed to say how long it’s been that I’ve been in the area and never realized it was here. I finally came by and was pleasantly surprised by the fact that it’s here. The espresso I got was fantastic (though I would have liked it served with a shot of sparkling water), the barista was friendly, and the vibe was quiet but nice. I’ll definitely be coming back for more coffee and to try the maple donut. ?Vegetarian options: No meat based options seen among the pastries.

Came here for the first time and now it’s my favorite coffee shop. Everyone is so helpful especially Thalia. Best coffee around and best baristas in town.

Atmosphere is really chill and the baristas are super friendly. The latte art was so pretty!

Really good coffee with average amt of seating. Seating to outlet ratio on the inside is pretty good but seating just isn't that numbered. Aside from coffee, they also sell soy candles, prints (I think) from local makers, and eightfold apparel with 10% going to a dog shelter. You can also purchase coffee making things here like an Aeropress, and of course they sell pre roasted whole beans. Pleasantly surprised at how good the drinks were. Baristas worked fast so we got orders in just a couple mins. I ordered the iced Americano black & the beans tasted ground fresh. Really good Americano and depending on if you take it with creamer or sugar it's also suitable for your taste. Iced mocha was also one of the best mochas I've had. Instead of chocolate I really tasted cocoa powder above anything else. I much prefer this to chocolate flavored syrup that usually comes with mochas. Very pleasant! Some of the most worthwhile drinks I've had in LA. Hours are a little wonky for working (7:30 AM to- 3 PM), but perfect for early risers. With the amount of outlets & good drinks I'll definitely be returning.

Service is great and ambiance is super cute. I just wasn't a fan of their drink. I got the hojicha latte and it was grainy and was not what I expected at all. It also was really bland so I felt like I was drinking grainy bland milk so I added honey to it when I got home.

Very friendly staff but not overly friendly like Dutch bros. This kind of reminds me of blue bottle but smaller chain. Barista was helpful and let me set up a hot milk tea when I told him I was trying to avoid drinking too much caffeine. Seating: insult and outdoor tables Parking: free and paid street, also paid WiFi: yes free Payment: electronic only, no cash Vibe: modern LA coffee shop Dress code: casual

I love this place. Enough that I'm hesitant to tell people about it because I like being about to get a place to sit, and I don't want it to blow up and be overrun, but also I love them and want them to do well and get good business so here we are.Great coffee, fantastic pastries. Easy location, nice atmosphere. Inexplicably a hub for attractive people of all natures?!?! Lots of dogs. Blue on blue monochrome. Treats to eat. Indoor seating. Outdoor seating. All the things.

Quite, clean little spot with the nicest coffee dude. I dont know how to order coffee and when he noticed I was drinking my GFs coffee. He brought me the same coffee she got because he noticed I liked hers more then the one I ordered.

Saw this place working nearby figured I'd try it based on all the good reviews. Sadly my experience does not match everyone else's.I wanted to get a little treat so stopped by on my way home, batista was very blase but I don't care as much about attitude if they can do a good job.I asked if they can do a flat white to which the person said yes, I asked for soymilk and they said they have non-fat and whole... Then 6 seconds of silence later as I contemplated my options due to being lactose-intolerant they said they have oat and almond.I asked for oat with some lavender.I got something that didn't taste like it had oatmilk in either flavor or consistency, part of me thinks they used non-fat regular milk anyway, as the drink itself was very watery, and they must have gone to the Lacroix flavor school for how much lavender they put in.Didn't even finish it, cause now I'm worried it'll give me stomach issues. And I get that flat white isn't on the menu, but if I ask and get told yes, I'm going to expect it to be decent unless they say they're not sure and they'll try or something to that extent. The coffee itself outside of whatever milk they ended up using and the barely there lavender flavor seemed pretty decent, shame everything around it didn't work out.

Great friendly little coffeehouse. Currently, it's temporarily closed for remodeling until sometime in early September 2023
