Amazing find, theit sushi kaiseki is the best and the middle set at $160 is one of the best values in town. Reminds me of places we went to in Japan. Sit at the bar and get an authentic omskasa experience for way less than comparable restaurants.
We had omakase sushi for 3 at lunch at the counter. The sushi was excellent and the chef and staff were very kind and solicitous. It was a nice quiet lunch after visiting the Geffen Contemporary Museum. A somewhat hidden jewel.
We came here for our anniversary and had an absolutely perfect tonight! The staff was wonderful, very friendly, and the restaurant is new and beautiful. We got the Shabu Shabu and sushi combination and every single dish they brought was fantastic. We just got back from Japan a month ago and were missing it, and this entire experience was so authentically Japanese and the quality was absolutely five stars!
