Disappointing hamantaschen cookies, just too dry and lacking flavor. Service was good. Prices very high for what it is.

Eilat was the second stop on our little self-made hamantaschen tasting tour of LA. First impression--the employee greeted us with a rather unfriendly hello and wasn't too enthused about helping us. Totally consistent with the other reviews. We ordered a large blueberry hamantaschen, and while I really liked the cookie part (it was super buttery and crisp), the blueberry filling was so bad that I could barely eat it. Maybe another flavor would be better. Of all six stops, I would say this hamantaschen came in at fourth place.

Cookies were horribly stale. Worst B&W I’ve probably ever
The portobello mushroom and the caprrse paninis are delicious and easily large enough for a filling lunch. Parking can be difficult - meters by the streets, but often occupied. Ambiance is very pleasant, old-world elegance, yet casual. (Is that possible? I think so.) I should mention that my rating here is for the brunch/ lunch menu and experience and not the bakery.

Good old world, backry, very good products when fresh! Sometimes, they will try to sell you, pastry that was back a day or two old. The prices are on the high side.

Nayos ate here and now it's ruined. However, I'll always love this place and the blintzes.

I went to buy some Burekas before Yom Kippur and the girls that works there told me that I should get the cheese one since they are fresh.I got home and tried one , unfortunately it was very far from being fresh. I had to throw all of it to trash. The burekas tasted like they were defrosted and had terrible taste. Will never buy from them again.
