I said no Chile or salsa on my burritos this is why I haven't been back in years
I was excited to see an einstein bros at Lax during my layover. I made an extra effort to change to walk 7 mins from my gate to this einstein bros, but was disappointed.
Let’s start with coffee. They had only drip coffee, no mocha or lattes.
They didn’t have any tomatoes and asiago bagels and they are a bagel shop ?
I jokingly asked the staff to put more avocado in my sandwich since they were outbof tomatoes, but she didn’t respond.
Horrible staffs, horrible service and horrible food.

Really kind and hardworking staff but my food was so disappointing. I don’t eat at Einstein’s often so I don’t know if it’s because this location is in an airport and they don’t have the same ingredients but everything was pretty flavorless and lukewarm. Had I seen the reviews in advance I would’ve tried to find breakfast elsewhere.

I have never in my life been treated so rudely at a fast food establishment. I will never return or purchase from this restaurant ever again. Terrible customer service, extremely rude employees. Was yelled at and the girl at the counter threw my receipt at me. Horrible employees. I wanted to speak to a manager and they absolutely refused. They make you order from a big screen, you can’t talk to anyone about specifics and when they mess up it’s your fault. Ruined my morning with my daughter.

Probably some of the hardest working airport food workers that we have come across. Three workers were busting their backsides on the early morning of 9/9. Food was actually very good. Really impressed.

Really good bagles but the service was extremely unmotivated and worked very slowly. We had to wait 30 minutes for our bagels and only got them because we asked again. Other customers have also complained that the long wait almost made them miss their boarding.

The worst service two people walked off out the line. One last pair had an argument A left her food. Didn’t have change for the customers. Gave me problems with my order that was unnecessary. Just what kind of businesses LAX allow. The worst t!
Very long wait, out of the menu items I wanted, no place to sit. Pretty bad place.

Be prepared to wait. A LONG TIME. Just to get your order in. Someone had the genius idea to replace cashiers with one screen to place orders, failing to factor in the learning curve associated with such a change. A second screen could massively help unblock this mess. Massive line to get into LAX. Massive line to get a bagel. Wtf?

Totally disappointing. Ordered a ham and swiss deli sandwich and they gave me a plain bagel with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese. Not like the photo on the menu...
Wish I had time to go back... oh well.

There was no line but the manager was busy talking to the other workers so it took a little to get my order taken. There were a lot of people behind the cash register but had to wait for the cashier to stop taking orders to start prepping my bagel. The manager was closing out the cash register and counting cash in front of customers which didn’t seem very professional…. To top it all off the bagel was burnt. Almost $11 for a burnt bagel is super disappointing. Seems this happens to a lot of people I don’t know why they can’t fix the settings or at the very least re-toast it?

Never left a negative review before! This LAX location has a super limited menu or they are just out of so many items every time I have been. . If you order online and they are out of something they will tell you they have no way to refund you.

Worst bagel. Super easy order - bagel, cheese and bacon. That’s it. They messed up the type of bagel, forgot the cheese. When I went back and asked for cheese, they handed me a cold slice of cheese. When I asked if I could at least get it melted, she said we won’t melt cheese. So everyone just gets a cold piece of cheese on their hot bagel? Gross. Won’t return.
Beware: Major Issues with DoorDash Orders at Einstein Bros Bagels LAX
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with Einstein Bros Bagels at LAX, and I want to warn others to avoid ordering through DoorDash for this location.
On June 19th, I placed an order through Google Maps, which was processed by DoorDash. I was charged and received a receipt, along with multiple email confirmations that my order was ready for pickup. But when I arrived at the location, they had no record of my purchase. I was told they don’t even accept DoorDash orders! Yet, they took my money without hesitation.
Despite showing proof of my order, the staff couldn’t provide me with my food or issue a refund because, according to them, there was nothing in their system to show my purchase. How is this even possible? It’s beyond ridiculous.
To make matters worse, when I checked Google reviews, I found others have experienced the same issue. This is not an isolated incident—it’s a pattern, and it feels like a scam. The DoorDash support was useless, and I ended up having to pay twice just to get my food.
If you’re thinking about ordering from this location through DoorDash/Google, DON’T. It’s a nightmare, and you’ll likely end up out of pocket with no food to show for it. Einstein Bros Bagels needs to fix this issue ASAP.
