I have never liked taquitos but these ones were delicious. Awesome crunchy corn flavor almost tasted like a frito. Green and red sauce both packed flavor. Chile rellano also great but could have been a tad crispier. Cool corner spot in DTLA.

During an hours long layover in Union Station, we walked to this area and saw Cielito Lindo on the corner. We had chili reillanos and tacquitos. The food was good but no better than what we've had in Santa Fe or Albuquerque. We ate at a table and a mariachi band stopped and played a song and remained there until we gave them a tip. We were over charged for our meal by about $10 over what the prices were on the walk up window. We can now say we ate at the "world famous" Cielito Lindo but doubt we'll return again.

Being able to come and grab a couple of taquitos in that green sauce is the only reason I was happy to miss my San Bernardino bound train. Always happy to get my Cielito Lindo fix, on a sunny afternoon with an horchata, watching the families enjoying Olvera Street and the music. It is literally el cielito lindo.

Terrible, workers improperly dump fluids, crack beers, loiter near my property, yell, and cause tenant disturbances. 1806 building needs a manager and to fire the main clown causing most of the trouble. Reported to Health Dept.

Best taquitos I have had! Please time I was there was in 1973! Cielito Lindo is a landmark!

Just as good as the other cielito lindo in Olvera Street but this one is easier to find parking at. We usually order a dozen taquitos that are not fried and just fry them up at home so they're hotter and fresher. They're also a little cheaper when you buy the uncooked ones. The avocado salsa is a must have along with the beans. I definitely recommend getting take out from here. They do have a few tables outside but I always take it to go.

Supposed to be open at 10 am on Saturdays. Arrived at 11 am, not open.

Honestly I don’t get the hype, the taquitos are like some under filled poo-sticks covered in sauce. And the beans and rice are just plain nasty. I could’ve just gotten a frozen meal from the grocery store vs deal with the hassle of parking etc. Felt overpriced to me, sloppily thrown together. Took way longer than expected to get my order as well, 10+ minutes after ordering though no one else was in line. Terrible for a lunch break.

Scarce parking, but same great food as Olvera St.

The taquitos are good, but the hours advertised online are not.... So keep that in mind before you make the drive, waste of time if you get there a half hour before closing and the are ALREADY closed

Just tried to order food here this afternoon, was left waiting at the counter. All the staff seemed to be in the parking lot. I waited several minutes, because I really wanted to try the taquitos. I heard how historic this place is, and have never had a chance to eat here because Olvera Street is so crowded and such a headache. But it seems like they didn't actually want any business. So I went to the other Mexican food options on Avenue 19

I live around the corner. Every time I've tried to come here to get food, the workers act busy and leave me standing around for several minutes, and don't even acknowledge my existence. To make matters worse, I have to hear them yelling all day long. Like right now, these guys are just hanging out in the back banging on metal, yelling, and laughing. I should not be able to hear a worker 200ft away, inside my apartment with my windows shut. The one time I did order food, they messed up my order, and I feel like they did that intentionally so I would never come back. When I asked to speak to a manager (about the noise) they said there is no manager. Terrible place!

Stick to the olvera st location. Man working is extremely rude - beans were old - poor quality overall. If you love the original - support the OG location because this spot AINT IT

The O.G taquitos with green sauce. Stopped by for lunch and had a #1 combo. 3 taquitos w/ rice n beans.

The loud man with the mustache gives terrible service, he even told me to F OFF when I showed them that they gave me pork taquitos instead of the beef. And he laughed in my face. I feel bad I spent any money here. Rotten staff. Will never come back to this restaurant even though I just started working in the area and have been looking for a regular spot to go to for lunch. I asked to speak to a manager and they said they have no manager. Well... they need one. This business does not want your business!
