The EL DORADO is just "meh" for me. Perhaps it's too classy for me (to be fair, I dig Tempest, but also enjoy wine, so...ehhh), but the few times I've been it's just been too...much. The blended red I got had 20 different varietals--that's a lot. The clientele is very SOMA/FiDi, so heads up.That being said, the sommelier was very knowledgable and patient with us when deciding. I'd go back the next time I wanted some hard-to-find wine.
Mr. Dubs ordered a few flights of wine and I had shared the macaron sampler. The sampler was delish and the wine was good.Good wine, good food, good company. Couldn't really have asked for more.
The D.J. was the ONLY one representing L.A. County proper last night. The crowd was kinda lame. The drink's are stiff! A+. Drank 1 drink \\u0026 bounced!
This place is better than Pink's or Dog Haus. So much variety. I recommend the Elote dog. The place has a very cool vibe. Staff were really nice as well.
Absolutely delicious. Not too crowded at noon on a Saturday, and I had such a hard time deciding between all the delicious dogs offered! I went with the House Dog, and it was perfect- not too salty, smothered in toppings, and you can't beat the lobster roll style bun. S&P fries were great too, and then we finished off with churros.
Nice spot for locals. I'm not a local, however this is the only place that's midpoint between some of my friends and I, so I've frequented for their happy hour often. Cool vibe. Gets pretty crowded with locals during their happy hours and very crowded on Friday night. Happy hour daily! And a good happy hour menu
I work in the food and beverage industry and love coming here after shift. This is a great neighborhood bar. Theres a great selection of spirits, the bartenders are friendly and drinks come out quick. Ali is one of the most hospitable bartenders I've met and always makes it a point to set the mood with the music he plays. If youre in the neighborhood, make it point to stop by for a cocktail. You won't be disappointed.
Cannot say enough positive things about this place. Excellent service from Jen and some of the best food we've had in the valley in years. We had the roasted chicken, lobster ravioli, peach salad and "tater tots" which taste more like potato croquettes. Everything was excellent including our craft cocktails. So happy and we'll be back!
Love Kazuki Sushi!! You get tasty, fresh sushi at a decent price. The staff is also very nice. We tend to get the Crunchy roll, Dragon Roll, and our new favorite is the BLCR. It's always busy and it's nice that they're still open for pick up during the COVID 19 crisis. Please support this small local business if you can!
This place is very nice and located far enough from anything to make plenty of noise. I come here often and find it a great place to socialize since it is never too noisy. The mixed drinks are well made and mixed right in front of you so you can see what you are in for. They even have beer pong upstairs if you really miss those days im college.

Fantastic place for happy hour. Good drinks and food, and fun circus vibe. Highly recommend for a post-work drink, especially if you like unique atmospheres in the financial district.
I went again on a Friday and this time, the service was MUCH better. We sat at the sushi bar, so maybe that's why? The food was still good as usual, but worth noting that I usually get sashimi here. It's not a good place for rolls.
Loved this dive bar! In fact, I think it's my favorite dive bar yet. What's great is its central location next to the Pantages and right across the W Hotel/Drais ...AND the subway station! i was really surprised that its drinks were so cheap for its location in Hollywood. Plus, now I know I can totally get a drink in to relax before seeing a show at the Pantages or going into Avalon which is just about 2 blocks away, saving tons of money instead of buying my drinks in there~!
This is very obviously not your typical club party. The venue is huge, there's some sort of rave going on upstairs, they open with a live band comprised of 3 singers - 1 asian lady, 1 goth guy, and someone else, and they serve Mexican food upstairs. It's crowded, the people are diverse, and the music is completely random. If this fits your bill for a great night out, I'd recommend it. However for those of us used to a more traditional outing, I'd say maybe spend your $12 somewhere else.
Really enjoy coming here on a Thursday nights for chill dinner and drinks. Stephanie is the best! Service is fast and awesome. And she checked in right before happy hour was done to make sure I got some extra plates in. The banana bread with ice cream is so good! And the sweet potatoes are the best!
