First, breakfast was delicious. We ordered huevos rancheros and huevos a la mexicana, and tamal de elote. The coffee was descent. The service was friendly and courteous. Prices are average. We walked upstairs, but there is an elevator. About the atmosphere - you have to be ok with open space with lots of people passing by. Regarding cleanliness, well considering that there are no walls and doors, one has to understand that the entire market place shares vermin and pests. Once again, is open market place. I didn’t see any critters or rodents, but read a review complaining. If you see something don’t stay and then complaint. Is like eating street tacos… one gets all the car’s pollutants. Come and just enjoy the food.
Would not recommend this place at all, had the worse tacos of my live. Was overcharged for items that were not ordered. The server did not want to take accountability of her mistake. And to top it off you can see roaches crawling through the walls GROSS. Definitely will make a report with the public health department about this!!
Never eating here again! Food was tasteless and super expensive. Beware they charge $2 credit card fee and menu has no prices at all.

The food was delicious, we came from another state, and the truth is that it surprised us. We ordered taquitos dorados and mole enchiladas. Everything was very delicious and with a good portion of rice, beans and salad. The horchata water was very delicious and refreshing. And the corn tamales are 10/10.

Everything is excellent, just one detail, they should have a container with water to wash their hands, there in the place. To do so one has to go to the public toilets in the market and it is not so pleasant as these toilets emit an unpleasant smell; and one comes out of there no longer wanting to eat. It is the only thing that overshadows El Gallito, not having a place to wash his hands.
