First, breakfast was delicious. We ordered huevos rancheros and huevos a la mexicana, and tamal de elote. The coffee was descent. The service was friendly and courteous. Prices are average. We walked upstairs, but there is an elevator. About the atmosphere - you have to be ok with open space with lots of people passing by. The food was delicious, we came from another state, and the truth is that it surprised us. We ordered taquitos dorados and mole enchiladas. Everything was very delicious and with a good portion of rice, beans and salad. The horchata water was very delicious and refreshing. And the corn tamales are 10/10.
Everything is excellent, just one detail, they should have a container with water to wash their hands, there in the place. To do so one has to go to the public toilets in the market and it is not so pleasant as these toilets emit an unpleasant smell; and one comes out of there no longer wanting to eat. It is the only thing that overshadows El Gallito, not having a place to wash his hands.
