Very small portion for protein in bowls, especially for price.

Very nice area being inside the Grove. The food was exceptional although a little expensive. Our server Britany was very nice and funny and helped us with unusual food modifications.

I got the quesabirria tacos and they were so delicious! The waitress (who was lovely) sold me on the new frozen margarita and I have zero regrets! It was very nice and refreshing on a hot day in August! I would come back here in a heartbeat if I was in the area.

Easily one of the most overhyped spots I’ve been to. Nothing we had had any real flavor just bland, lifeless food that felt thrown together without thought. The good reviews are laughable once you realize they’re mostly from people trading praise for a free dessert, which is honestly just as disappointing as the rest of the menu. If you’re fine with food that could pass for a toddler’s snack, maybe this is your place. Anyone else should spend their money somewhere that actually cares about taste.

Some restaurants surprise you in the best way. This one surprised me in the worst. The nachos were a letdown from the first bite chips without crunch, cheese without flavor and toppings that tasted like they’d been sitting around waiting for someone to care. The bowls followed the same pattern of bland, mismatched ingredients that never once came together as a proper dish. It’s a disgrace to ever call this “Mexican” food.
They offer a free dessert for a 5 star review and suddenly you’ve got a wall of praise online. I took the bait (but had to come back and serve justice since I can’t mislead fellow foodies!) and tried their churros. It was oily, soggy and with a chocolate dip that could pass for sweetened water. This place might fool you once but it won’t win you back. Never again

This place is a complete joke. The nachos were absolutely horrible stale chips, bland cheese, and toppings with zero flavor. Every bowl we ordered was just as bad, with random ingredients tossed together and no harmony whatsoever. Nothing tasted fresh or seasoned, like they forgot what Mexican food is supposed to be.
And about those “good” reviews? (Including the one my friend David Zheng posted, we went together) They bribe you with a free dessert to post them. The so called fried churros with chocolate sauce was greasy, soggy, and flat out awful. Street churros from the sweet old lady with a cart are ten times better. Save yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else. I mean, literally. It’s THE GROVE. I don’t know why we went here.

Came back to edit my review. Originally had a less than satisfactory meal, but was able to have a redo! Thank you, Jeni for a yummy lunch. We had the shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas and it was delicious.
