Authentic Salvadoran pupusas!

El Jocoreño is a little piece of Latin America in Los Angeles! Right now basic pupusas are $3.50 which is a great price for a sit down restaurant and the pupusas are amazing.

The restaurant is humble but it’s not a hole in the wall. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. People say “Good Afternoon” as they pass bye quite often. Locals come here and they have loyal customers. It’s a little piece of El Salvador! I love the atmosphere and listening to the cumbias in the kitchen!

This is my favorite pupusa restaurant and I’ve been to other good sit down pupusa places!

I had two pupusas revueltas with beans. They have chicharron and cheese as well. I also had a special Lent pupusa made of rice flour and shrimp. All pupusas here are not greasy, they’re thick and packed with flavor! Very important because many places sell greasy pupusas. I also had a delicious cup of tamarind water! One of my favorite drinks is Salvadoran horchata which is different than Mexican horchata. I like their version better. Try it. It’s amazing!

The service here is so good! The lady that attends you is a sweet woman with great manners and very efficient.

I believe they are cash only still.

Meter parking outside. They have a small lot behind the restaurant!

Definitely, the cuisine is very delicious, the typical Salvadoran flavor is perfect, the grilled winged breast with onions is delicious with the flavor of rice and fried beans, not to mention, and the grilled shrimp is also wooo, what a delicious thing and the juices are a delight, they are not so sweetened They are perfect for the palate but the best comes here the pupusas are a very well made quality like typical Salvadoran not greasy at all and eaten in so many restaurants and the pupusas are so greasy that your hands fill with grease when you touch them to say more Better visit this restaurant so that you can make up for what I'm saying. The only thing that's bad is that there's no parking, but you can always find it around you ????%100

This is another place to eat delicious Salvadoran food. The breads with chicken are delicious, the pupusas, yuca with pork rinds, and in general everything is delicious. The service is very careful and if there is something you want and they don't have it, it may be that as you ask for it they will please you. The only thing missing is a parking lot but that can be solved quickly.

Vegetarian options: Salads and parboiled vegetables as they say in El Salvador.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there is access, but to go to the toilet it is a little narrow.

Serve only takes good care of customers that she knows you have to call her to get her attention, and then gives you an attitude. First and last time I go

My wife and I used to go to eat very often at this place and my wife ordered a chicken soup and I ordered a beef soup and when my wife realized that it was chicken and not chicken, the annoying waitress replied that that's how they did it in all the restaurants to which it seems illogical to me because if it says something on the menu that's how it should be done, not because someone else does things wrong, one will do it, the truth is, we were disappointed with the waitress's response, I think we won't go back there ??
