I came to this place to buy some bolillos and they gave me some old, hard bolillos, and I could see while they were giving them to me that they had fresh bolillos, which are the ones they should have given me because you pay for a fresh product, and not for the junk that already exists. They couldn't sell, because that's how they lose customers, I never return to this bakery again.

This is one of the best Gems in East LA. The conchas Are amazing, but their crown Jewel are their tamales. They are made fresh daily, the masa is never dry or undercooked, the filling is always plentiful and flavorful. I don’t live in the area anymore but this place is a must if you want great tamales.Make sure you arrive before 8-9 they don’t last much longer than that

My husband and I always come here and get puerquitos and this time decided to try the empanadas de calabaza and it taste like a pumpkin pie in a empanada form

Warm and delicious pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread) and piping hot tamales and champurrado.

Average. The young cashiers are nice, but the older lady, whom seems to be the owner, is very unpleasant and rude. The bread is ok, nothing special.
Little with alot of flavor? my favorite the small/ miniature cookies very fresh & tasty. My mom loves their small guava/piña empanadas but no picture they ran out.. they are sold quickly. I purchase today these crispy cookies my favorite.Muy crujientes y frescas al dia

The bread was yummy and surprisingly not that expensive. They were out of tortas by lunch time.

This place gets busy! Know before you go: make a reservation. On a lunch break with a co-worker we got lucky and found two seats at the bar. We shared the Spring Rolls to start. The texture on these caught me off guard, as it was thicker than other spring rolls I've bad, but the flavors were fresh! I ordered Chicken with sticky rice. The dish was super flavor and quite generous. I didn't finish it. So, while is pricey here, you can also definitely order to share. We saw plenty of gorgeous, colorful dishes come out of the kitchen, so I'd return with a group and order a bunch of items to share! The service at the bar was very impersonal and cold. Service is everything to me, I'm going with four on this one.
