We moved to Highland Park 14 years ago based on our apartment’s proximity to El Pique. Technically we owe El Pique our gratitude for not only for making the finest tacos in LA, but also helping us to find affordable rent controlled housing (we still live in the same apartment). I’ve been vegetarian for almost two decades now and El Pique makes THE BEST vegetarian tacos and THE BEST red salsa in all of the land. My husband who eats meat, orders mainly veggie tacos or their veggie quesadilla. If you haven’t had their veggie quesadilla, you need to get right and order it—no veggie quesadillas is better (if you order during day tho, ask for no lettuce). Their horchata and Champurrado are yummy too. On top of all of this, everyone who works here is a lovely person, they make us smile every time.
El Pique is so beloved among our friends, that we did a band photo shoot in front of the truck and then we introduced El Piq to other musician friends, and they also did a photo shoot there. Again, they’re the best, go there.
We love you El Pique, never change!

Hi, I wanted to try a different Mexican food place close to eagle rock, I look on Google found a food truck read the reviews high comments. I look at the prices the same on the pic, I saw a all meat burrito for $10 the lowest price I ever seen. I got the Asada and 1 carntias taco price $1.75. Came with salsa, lime and rashish. The Asada meat is very tender the way they cut it up small slices, the salsa was different never had that kind of flavor, so I added some lime to it. The carnitas was good different taste I like it when they cook it more at other restaurants. The lady was nice in the truck. I will come back when I visit Eagle Rock every Saturday and get the samething. Only 3 miles away from target. Maybe, next time I will get asada and rice burrito. I like the prices

I usually order their carne asada tacos ?. But, I've also eaten the tortas y tacos al pastor. The woman usually takes my order, and she's nice and considerate. She sees that I ride my Razor scooter and gives me a large plastic bag for me to carry my food. This is right next to the car wash, and there are a couple of regulars asking for ? to buy tacos! I'll always buy them food or give them money to buy their tacos. They're hungry and harmless. This is my favorite taco truck in Highland Park, and there are many. Viva los ? ? ?

Expectations is Mexican food truck burrito in LA must be good. We had a al pastor and carnitas. Carnitas was better than Al pastor. Good tortilla and rice. Beans weren’t that good. Salsa was excellent. Service was awesome

This place beats every truck around... Same taste and same guy on the grill since I was in middle school. We would ditch and they would still feed us!
