Let me first tell u, the guy at the drive thru window said hi and thats it. All while looking like he hated to see customers. I usually look before I drive off but I was tired and wanted to get home. I look inside and the burrito, completely open!!! Tortilla ripped, and they still just threw the food in there like that. That is freaking disgusting. Do ur jobs right, ur still getting paid. Going straight in the trash. Horrible service from start to finish.

Chicken is always dry. Every single time I go here they always mess up the order, and take a while to finsh the order. Sometimes there's a weird strong order cant tell what is but it makes u losse ur appetite.

This place needs new management, better training for new hires so they don't look so ridiculous when they really don't hv the slightest idea what they are doing when on the line working on one order today that was not even super big at lunch time took them over 35 minutes that is horrible i was the only customer right behind the family mentioned when i first got there by the time the order was ready n i moved up there was atleast 5 cars behind me all honking i sat right by the window as i waited another 15 mins for my order just watching all these people look major confused n out of place...remember these people are in there making our orders now...i will not b coming back any time soon!!!🤬😡

Worst pollo loco ever. Dining room was locked by 7pm. I had to wait in the drive thru line that took for ever for it to move. My food was cold by the time I received it

I really hate to be that guy and this isn't a reflection, SOLELY, on this restaurant, but all, not a couple or a few, but ALL El Pollo Loco restaurants I've visited has dry and chewy chicken. It's a reoccurring theme across all of their restaurants. I'm truly shocked they've been able to stay in business for as long as they have. It's really a shame, too, because the surrounding dishes and garnishes are great. The customer service, particularly at this establishment, has been EXCELLENT. Fix the chicken issue and El Pollo Loco will be GREAT.

I was disappointed after 4-5min. No one came up front. I had time to look around at the counters in the kitchen, filthy with spilled salsa & cilantro onions, little nats/flies. They're so busy with the Sunday Drive thru, we waited. By the time we ordered the line was long & after 10 more minutes, we got a refund. That's the 1 on Vermont and Slauson. This staff were few & NEW. They weren't able to gain control back. I'm sorry.
