Fish quality is great. Other stuff is ok. I got sick of the omakase run around (lines, reservation antics) at all the likely places. If you are looking for quality fish, and can accept everything else is being ok, this will work out for you. Chef/owner is attentive, and wants to make sure you have a good dining experience. That sounds like a great experience waiting to happen.

The sushi here is so fresh and delicious. I ordered the Lunch special 3. Tuna Roll and 10 piece sushi - chef's choice. I loved that the chef chose unusual pieces of fish not just your basic salmon and albacore... The service is excellent! They are also generous and gave me an unexpected dessert for free! Definitely 5 stars. I'm coming back!

Clean interior with great food and service!The owner/ sushi chef was very attentive. His smile made us feel welcomed. I got the sushi combo and wow… I’ve never tried monkfish liver before and it was sooooo good. So creamy and yummy it just melted in my mouth. Definitely recommend this spot!

My go-to for affordable chirashi bowls in ktown! Don't expect omakase quality, but you definitely get the most bang for your buck here. Fish is always fresh, well-portioned, and I love the variety. The chirashi bowl, priced at $33 for dinner and $20 for lunch (M-F only), comes with sushi rice, seaweed salad, pickled cucumbers, pickled red ginger, unagi (dinner only), miso soup, and an assortment of fishes that may vary, but usually includes: - salmon - squid - octopus - monkfish liver!!! (my fave) - large scallops - spanish mackerel - tamago - shrimp - yellowtail - spicy tuna - ikura For the amount of food and quality of fish, it's a steal! Highly recommend the chirashi bowl. Another honorable mention is the crispy tuna (spicy tuna on crispy rice). It's the best I've ever had and massive for only $7.50. Also, the owner/chef is very sweet and makes me want to help support his business even more. But don't get me wrong, if he was an asshole, I'd still eat here.

I had the Crunch roll and a Philly roll. They came with some good miso soup. Both rolls were good but a little on the small side. I tried the Crispy Tuna and it was good too. I also had iced green tea which was good. If your pet peeve is too little ginger this place isn’t like most other places. They give you a container full of it. That’s pretty good. Parking is meter or valet.
