I had the beef taquitos a la carte. Delicious as always, with plenty of guacamole.However, this visit I was a bit disappointed. I requested a Machaca Hollenbeck Burrito to go and instead I was sent home with an Original Chile Verde Hollenbeck Burrito.I suggest confirming and/or checking your order before leaving.
Delicious food and fast! If there isn’t room in the dining area, got around the side and order and eat on the patio!

Absolutely amazing local restaurant. This place has amazing food for very good prices and the portions are quite large to boot. If you are able to eat more than your contemporaries then the portions per item (especially the burritos) will most definitely satisfy you. Average Food prices as of posting are between $12-$18, if i recall correctly. They have a decent size parking lot and the staff are very nice and friendly. This place is a definite must if you ever come down here if you have a hankering for wet burritos. The only drawback that I have noticed, and I never asked, is that there is no restrooms. At least from what I have noticed.Parking: Due to the popularity of this restaurant the parking lot may be full depending on the day and how busy it is. Aside from that, if you are lucky you will either be able to find street parking or be able to use of their many parking lot spaces.

This is a Destination Spot in Historic ELA. Many memories, but Food is always good and consistent ✌️Vegetarian options: Grilled Veggies, Guacamole, Chips, Chile Rellenos, Chilaquiles, Beans, Rice, etc. etc.

Great place to come with friends and family for hot tamales, breakfast burritos & horchaca.Parking: Small parking lot. Easy access and good services during off peak hours.
Huge portions, tasty, but my burrito was literally falling apart. It seemed as if the burrito was just folded over.

I'm very disappointed. We ordered and shared the Hollenbeck Burrito. It was far from what we used to get. We cut the burrito in half. My half had one piece of fatty meat and no guacamole! All rice and beans! My boyfriend's had a few pieces of meat, a small dallop of guacamole, also, All rice and beans. There were two pieces of meat on the burrito with sauce as a garnish. All in all, expensive and not worth the effort and ride to pick it up. It wasn't even tasty. We ordered chips and they were the greasiest chips ever! WHAT HAPPENED? It's quality has clearly diminished. I think Manuel is turning in his grave. Needless to say, we won't be eating there any time soon.
