Love their food. I wasn't really a fan of Indian food before trying electric lotus. Their atmosphere if you dine in is really nice, portions are great and the garlic naan is a must try.

Absolutely hands down the best Indian I've ever had in my life. Unpretentious and incredibly complex flavors. Full bar and kind staff!Get the korma, it's so delicious

This place is so so good! I used to not like Indian food and I've been converted. I usually get the chicken makhni and enjoy their delicious samosas and garlic naan. The price point is really great for how much food you get. The ambiance is really nice inside and their online ordering and delivery is also so so easy. A must try!

The food is not good here. If you want authentic, flavorful Indian food, go to Artesia.

Most reviews lean towards a surplus of Adjectives. There is something to be said about longevity and consistency in this business. This establishment has, for two decades of my life, steadily brought you amazing tasty Indian Cuisine. All of the staples that makes Indian Cuisine what it is… delicious. They have seen some pretty spectacular changes in decor but on the whole it is simply is fantastic Indian Cuisine!

I don’t get the other reviews, this was the saddest, most flavorless indian food my date and I ever had. The “vegetable pakoras” were just big chunks of unseasoned boiled veggies that had been breaded and deep fried. Curry was so bland, the paneer “masala” tasted like straight up canned tomato paste, and even the naan just tasted like cheap pizza dough. Nothing was good except for the beer and the server who was very nice.

I want my money back, y'all. This is the most disappointing meal I've had in a very long time. What is happening in the kitchen, Electric Lotus??? Did you make your chef mad? This Shrimp with Mint has zero flavor... and the Saag is jacked up too. Gotta be hard to mess up spinach. The Naan is just okay... I'm a very charitable reviewer. I want to like this meal. But, you all. I'd gotten a $100 GrubHub gift card, and this was my first meal and it was a GIANT letdown. I hate to diss you... as you're likely very decent people. But I spent nearly $40 and am going to bed hungry. #nothappy #bland #zeroflava

Not bad! the place looked very empty (around lunch hours) and they have very few employees. I think they also own the restaurant next door (Public House) which is a lot more busy so keep in mind that the service will be slower. The food was pretty good! the lamb korma was flavorful, not super spicy though. the garlic naan isn't what i was expecting - garlic chunks instead of garlic sauce/butter was used. even though the service was slow they employees were very nice and hospitable. i also had the mango lassi (not pictured) and it was also very good!

I ordered takeout on a Thursday night and this was the only restaurant on the street that had zero people dining there. All of the other restaurants I had walked past had lots of people sitting outside and eating. I already knew this was a bad sign and that maybe I should have ordered food from somewhere else.I love Indian food, but this was extremely underwhelming. I got the chicken coconut curry, basmati rice, and naan. The chicken coconut curry was fine. The chicken was a bit stringy and not really tender, and the flavor of the curry wasn't anything exciting. The basmati rice was standard. The naan wasn't good. It felt soft when I ripped it, but was chewy and dry when I ate it.The food here was just fine. I can't really say anything particularly good or particularly awful about. It was just eh. The reason I ultimately gave it 2 stars is because the food was disappointing and I would not recommend this place to anyone. This may have been my least favorite Indian restaurant I've ever gotten food from. I'm sure there are plenty of better Indian restaurants in LA.

Naan bread is made upon order. Dipping sauces tasted great. Chicken Tikka Masala, Veggie Pecora, Mango Lassi, Samosas tasted delicious. I'd give 5 stars rating

Came here with two of my friends after a long day of work to have one of my all time favorite cuisines:Indian food. Started off with the garlic naan bread which wasn't anything special to me but everyone else at the table seemed to enjoy it!Then we got our main course and decided on 3 vegan dishes and the vegetable biryani for the table. I was so pleased with my meal. If I could have this everyday, I wouldn't complain. Particularly, the tofu tiki masala was my favorite and the rice was a perfect pairing to go along with it. Don't. Forget. The. Rice. Can't wait to return! 4.5/5

I celebrated my nomination earlier this evening in this great place. Well we enjoyed a delightful evening and the place was absolutely the reason for that fruitful meeting. The crew collaborated in a lovely style, the meals were delicious and my guests were extremely overjoyed. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
