Great American café style comfort food. Unfortunately, we were the only customers in the restaurant at 8 PM on a Saturday night. Also, the risotto was too garlicky. Other than that, everything was great.

Excellent food and a good happy hour- but the owners should hire a second server for week nights or refuse service after so many tables fill up. ONE server for the bar and entire restaurant is not fair to the waitstaff nor the customers. Maybe the weekends have better staffing but we will not be returning on weekdays.

The food was fine (very average) but what I found so frustrating is they put glass water bottles on the table that are 6 DOLLARS per bottle. The server also did not tell me the water was additional, otherwise I would have ordered a glass of tap water. I drank the bottled water and she did not add it to my bill and then proceeded to flag me at the gate after I had paid. Why not just be up front with prices? Its a scam

Had a quick bite and a cocktail while I had some time before boarding. I had a wrap which was excellent and the service was fast even though the restaurant was busy during the Thanksgiving rush.
I saw some of the poor reviews due to pricing but I'm not sure what others expected in an airport. I would eat here again!

On my way to Cleveland on United. Security was fast. I had time for an early breakfast. Just before gate 85, there is Engine Co 28. YES they have Breakfast! My waitress was very helpful, had coffee in no time. Egged and potatoes were out fast too. So I had time to eat before Boarding.
When you place your order, just say JOE sent you...they will say Joe Who...that's me 😁.
Parking: Past security LAX, near gate 85.

I got a basic breakfast, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and hashbrowns, no toast and a baileys & coffee and it was $53 USD.
The baileys and coffee was $26 usd, it wasn’t on the menu and nobody informed me of the price.
That is criminal.
The most expensive baileys & coffee I’ve had. Unbelievable.
$17 for one beer is too high even for an airport - especially when the prices are not on the menu.

The restaurant was closed when we arrived. I don't think you should be able to place a reservation for a restaurant that is not open. I have been there before and it was very good. We were disappointed.

It was okay for an airport restaurant.
The only thing which was interesting was that staff yelled over to a customer who was leaving saying “thank you for your generosity” as I guess they didnt leave a tip. I understand this is American culture but I can’t accept this behaviour as this is not mandatory.

We were trying to decide between the $36 fish and chips or the $25 roast turkey wrap. Ended up with the wrap. It was good. Someone else halfway across the room ordered the fish. The smell was overwhelming from 20' away! Glad we had the wrap. Be careful of the drinks menu! There are no prices, for a reason! My old fashioned was very good, but in no way worth $24! My wife had a $9 Sprite. Definitely would avoid if you're on a budget or expense account!
