Very unsuspecting location for such a cute and cozy cocktail bar. Staff was super nice and the drinks were excellent. You can definitely tell this place has a loyal customer base. Perfect spot to grab a drink and have good conversations.

Best cocktails in all of Los Angeles! Won’t find a better atmosphere and staff around.

A lovely bar with a classic atmosphere. The staff is kind and the drinks are beautifully hand crafted with lush ingredients. The aromatic smell of fresh squeezed citrus and hand picked herbs engulfs the room and creates the sought after sense of truly relaxing and enjoying oneself.

Fun vibes, interesting cocktails and great service. They have a small food menu to snack on, if you get hungry. Needs better lighting in the dining are as we kept on turning our flash lights to read the menu.

The cutest and best bar I’ve ever been to! You can tell the drinks here are made with intention and talent. Definitely hits too! Great DJ too. Never missed! New favorite place!

made a reservation for 2 for drinks. being able to make a reservation for drinks is very clutch, wish more bars had that option. was given a very spacious table and couch. the staff is attentive, the vibe is great and the drinks are solid. there’s parking on site but it’s often full. street parking can be challenging depending on the time. stayed till closing and was given free sandwiches by the staff so they didn’t go to waste, bravo.

Service was amazing, drinks were solid and the pie was the star of the show. I would definitely go back for the dulce de leche apple pie. They are close to my work so I will be back. this place is a great place to go for drinks and conversation or just to read a book. They play great music, love it just wish they had more food options.

I normally like bars that serve craft cocktails. This is the first craft cocktail bar that actually knows the booze they're serving and can help tailor their drinks to the customer's pallette. If you order a drink off their menu that isn't sweet or sour enough to you're liking, they'll tweak it until you're satisfied. It's a great place to get drunk with helpful knowledgeable bar tenders to help you get there.

I really enjoyed this spot. Tonight, a friend and I visited for the second time - and some of the staff remembered us from months ago.Super quick, nice service. Drinks were great - we had El Matadors - if you're into Mezcal.Great music at the right volume. Great vibe. We'll be returning soon and recommend it for sure ??Bonus points/cherry on top for having dedicated parking spaces in the attached lot.

I was so excited to try Bolita so this review is a bit surprising to myself. I love a good cocktail, especially when it has tequila or mezcal. I can't put my finger on it but my drink was just off flavor wise. I ordered the "incante" it sounded light and refreshing. Every sip I took just tasted off. My friend ordered the "yanqui handshake" I also felt it was a bit odd. I normally like to get 2 drinks to try and compare, 1 was enough at this place.

Out of all the places that have inhabited this space on Virgil, Bolita is the most welcome (sorry Smogcutter). This Cuban style bar that’s part of the Cochinito/Cafe Tropical family, is perfectly designed both interior and bar menu. It’s cozy, chill and very relaxed. A perfect spot to meet up after work for happy hour drinks with friends or a nightcap with a date. The drink menu is inspired by classics and they’re so well crafted that they stand out from most bars in the area because of it.While you can also get wine and some beer in cans, one of the biggest draws to Bolita is that they offer a pie of the day as well as some other small finger foods. But the pies are where it’s at!I often just ride through there to just to get a slice of pie and a drink and then head back out. They clearly take care in how they designed the bar menu along with the pies to pair well with their drinks. The staff are equally chill and accommodating depending on your tastes.I only leave one star off because while it’s not exactly a rum bar, it is a Cuban bar and I was hoping for a more extensive rum list. Nevertheless the drinks are good regardless of my bougie rum tastes!

Rarely do you get it all, cute decor, yummy cocktails, exceptional service but Bolita delivers! The drinks (paradise city and daiquiri) were delicious and not too sweet, the charming ambiance was delightful (also a bar that plays their music at a volume you don't have to shout over, so lovely). And the service was amazing, bartender even came by to see if we wanted waters after ordering at the bar. Oh and there was pie?! Can bar pie please become a trend, because it was amazing. Would visit again.
