It is good place to have a taco not super amazing or great but a nice place, good food and good service. Price is also not bad.Parking: It’s right on Beverly so not always the best place to find parking. Down one of the blocks you’ll have better luck and you can park 2hours there for free.

Ridiculously expensive with such a small portion size without taste. Will not visit

I am in MOURNING. This used to be my favorite taco spot in LA; just a good margarita , everything home made. Loved the staff. What happened to this place? Tacos are half the size they used to be, margaritas super sweet. All these young kids walking in circles ( do they actually work there?) so sad, had our first date here 3 years ago and used to go every so many weeks. Said goodbye today…

Cool table with a lazy susan but that's about where the good experience stopped. Chicken tinga taco was mid at best. Lobster taco had a poor serving size of lobster for $15. There are better tacos to be found in LA.

might honestly be the worst taco in LA. lowest ROI by far. there was an $8 pepper taco that was just like a green bell pepper diced up in a sad tortilla.

The food is good. But the service is always terrible. It feels like they have high turnover for their staff or something. Order two drinks per person if you want a second one because the waiter isn’t coming back a second time. Ask for the check after you order your meal because that waiter ain’t come if back. Shrimp burrito is bomb. Service is terrible. I think we are going to stop coming here.

Sat down in a cold restaurant to eat a cold burrito. Was a lovely experience....PS: To the owner: you are NOT sorry, clearly!! The email you offered is invalid. Here is what I tried to write you:Dear Escuela Taqueria.I actually really appreciate your interest in our bad experience, so feel its worth writing you, as you requested. My wife and I were in the area last night and stopped in spontaneously, it may be the last time we do that in LA for food (as it is, more often than not, quite disappointing). I thought our waitress was actually incredibly nice and attentive, but the environment was not so comfortable (why leave your doors open in winter?!). The burritos showed up so soon after we ordered them and after one bite it was clear they were made in advance and "rushed" with "some" heating up but really were not tasty, at all.. and quite small in size, honestly. In the end we ordered two burritos with guac and salsa, one beer, one coke, and after tax and tip was about $75, which just seems utterly insane in this economy. So that is our experience, we wont be returning to your restaurant.Nevertheless, wishing you peace in 2024...

This is my first time ever writing a review on Google Maps, to show how strongly I feel about this food.In terms of my expectations entering this establishment, this meal has blown me away. Service was great and very quick, chips w/ guacamole and salsa were very good; chips tasted freshly made, and both dips were delicious.I ordered the shrimp and Jack taco dorado, which was incredibly tasty, and then the chicken tinga burrito. Unreal on both. Portion sizes were larger than most other burritos I’ve had in LA.I would highly recommend this place, some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had.

Really good tacos with elevated options in the menu like the wagyu steak tacos or ethical pork. Really good quality, well executed served in mini corn tortillas, very authentic style tacos. The ambiance was modern and cool, nice outdoor area to seat as well. Service was polite and quick.
