super cool and trendy coffee shop. music is perfect. great place to take friends/a date; there are arcade games, records to listen to, decent seating indoor/outdoor. drinks were pretty good too!

This is such a special place. First, outstanding lattes, very high quality espresso and matcha quality. If you appreciate ceremonial grade matcha, you will love their drinks. Everything is so thoughtful, the seating, the atmosphere / interior design, and of course the record stations. Just brilliant. In the back they have video games and an awesome burger pop up. Misha and his team couldn’t be more welcoming. A+

I’ve come here a few times and always enjoyed myself and the drinks. Unfortunately, they recently changed the cup shapes and now the sizes are ridiculously small and inconvenient to use with any straw, all for the same overpriced amount. It’s disappointing as the rest of the cafe is great, especially the vibes and staff; however due to this change and what feels like disrespect to the customer base who have to pay a large amount for a few sips of matcha/coffee, I have chosen to no longer come to this cafe as long as these cups are in use.

After 4 months of trying 7820284 different strawberry matchas around LA, I have come to the conclusion that Established Today makes the BEST strawberry matcha!!! I come here religiously now and it is an added bonus that the baristas Ritchie, Kevin and Kayla are all so fabulous and friendly. Always such good service!

place is pretty aesthetic as they have listening stations where u can listen to vinyls. but that’s probably the only good thing about this place as the service was unfriendly and drinks were mid. we were standing waiting for one of the staff to acknowledge us but since he was having a convo w his coworkers we stood there for a bit before he acknowledged us - it actually felt like i was in those memed pov unfriendly la barista videos bc why did i feel like i was bothering the staff for even ordering 😭 after we ordered the guy taking our order didnt confirm anything or say thank you, just turned around to continue his convo w his coworkers. the drinks looked alright on first sight but tasting it the matcha was grainy and not strong at all and the girl making our espresso tonic put hella syrup to the point it was sickly sweet… we did not finish our drinks even at the steep 8$ a cup price point 😔 sadly my experience here was bad and there are a lot of better drinks and friendlier service at other cafes in la so i would not recommend this place even though the atmosphere is aesthetic :(
The drinks were okay. If I am going to pay 7$ for matcha I would like it whisked a little better and less clumpy but the powder itself seemed very good. My biggest problem was the number of dogs inside the shop. It is not okay and not clean to allow animals inside where food and drink is being made. Someone’s dog jumped on me and it seemed like a normal and acceptable thing to happen in the shop.
