We loved the Portland location and had high expectations when visiting in LA. Fortunately, Farmhouse Kitchen lived up to its reputation! We visited over lunch which provided a special menu option with soup, appetizers, and entree. Service was impeccable - so friendly and attentive. We'll be back!

While the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, with its Thai-inspired decor creating a cozy ambiance, I was disappointed by the overall experience. The food, although decent, did not justify the higher-than-average prices. Additionally, the lack of street parking added to the inconvenience. Overall, while the atmosphere was inviting, the value for the price paid and the taste of the food fell short of expectations.Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant was further dampened by a mix-up with my takeout order. Despite confirming the item with the waiter, I was given the wrong item when I received my order to go. This oversight was disappointing and added to the overall dissatisfaction with the dining experience. It's unfortunate that the service did not meet expectations, tarnishing an otherwise enjoyable meal.

Amazing authentic Thai restaurant with a charmingly cozy atmosphere/vibe.The food is finger licking good! My partner and I went several times during our trip to LA and even brought friends. My favorite dish is the branzino and volcano noodles, still thinking about it.

Stunning aesthetics, and even more stunningly delicious food. Looks like a pretty Instagram place, but the food was excellent. Blown away by how delicious everything on the tasting menu was.

Wow, this has probably been the best Thai food I have had in my life. After being in Thailand for some time, I am constantly craving authentic Thai cuisine, and have explored many placed in LA, but this one is hands-down the best. Spicy Volcano Cup got me seriously addicted, and I will be coming in for many more pad thai. The service is excellent, food arrives fast, staff is extremely welcoming and helpful in explaining the menu. From the moment you enter you feel very homely. The place has a modern Thai interior design. There is a lovely spacious outside space and even their own garden (hence the name), where many spices that are served in the restaurant are grown.Overall, if you are in a mood for Thai food, or want to try something new, look no further - Farmhouse Kitchen Thai is the place to go!Dietary restrictions: Lots of high-protein options.Kid-friendliness: Kids options are available!

Cute lil spot. I went here for date night on a Wednesday night. Public Parking didn't exist, they had a guy doing "valet" and he took zelle and cashapp for payment. The ambiance was a Vibe you have to get patio seating. Food was a a 10 they're pricey but worth it. The portion was big and the flavors were a 10!!! We order the Brazino, it's a whole fish in a spicy juicy $50 and crab fried rice $35. The Mr & Mrs was 2 drinks one was make a wish which was sweet and super cute $30. The whole experience was were it and we both said we would definitely come back, oh and they had great service to match along with indoor and outdoor photo ops.Parking: Valet only, the streets are for residents by permit, well atleast at 7pm on the week day I visited

Parking: In front of the restaurant. Be cautious if you self park, the area is laced with parking zones . If you don't live in the area you really can't park in the area. 2 hour limit and it changes after 6pm

I recently visited Farmhouse Kitchen and had a rather disappointing experience. The place was quite chaotic, and it seemed like the poor lady at the host desk was overwhelmed with her responsibilities. Reservations turned out to be useless, which was frustrating as it was my second time visiting. I had hoped that the issues from my first visit were due to it being a new location, but unfortunately, many of the same problems occurred on my last visit. Despite the issues, I must admit that the food was overall good. The egg rolls, in particular, were on point. However, the experience was marred by the inexperienced waiter. I don't fault him personally, as it seems like there may be a lack of proper training at the establishment. Even something as simple as asking for a to-go box seemed like an inconvenience. To add to the disappointment, when I went to the bar to get a straw, the bartender barely acknowledged me. I politely said "please" and "thank you," but there was no response from the bartender. It felt like the staff was more focused on generating revenue and cutting corners rather than providing a pleasant dining experience. By 9 PM, they were already cleaning up as if they were closing, despite the fact that they close at 10 PM. The cleanliness of the tables was also an issue, as they felt greasy. Additionally, there seemed to be a lack of air-conditioning inside, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. Furthermore, I had purposely made reservations for outdoor seating, but to my dismay, I was seated at a table for two near the front door. The phone was constantly ringing with no one answering it, which added to the overall lack of professionalism. In conclusion, Farmhouse Kitchen has potential but is in dire need of new management and retraining. The issues with reservations, inexperienced staff, lack of cleanliness, and poor seating arrangements need to be addressed for a better dining experience.

Went for the Valentines Day "Love Love Bites".Booking implied you get two donuts but we only got one, so we split a small donut between us. We didn't like the drinks but that was personal preference, they were probably good if you like amaretto.Service was really poor and all the waiters seemed really rude and uncaring. Wouldn't go again.

I like that this place brings some beauty to the neighborhood and well it has a vibe. I went late and well the rice on both dishes was stale. Right a Thai place with stale rice-boo. The meat was tender and delicious but I yearned more for the Thai in farmhouse kitchen. I'll never go back but it was an ok something to do.

Everything was great. Branzino was cooked to perfection. Crab rice had an array of flavors. The portions were generous. We took the Dungeness crab home and it was great the next day ?? 10/10
