Ordered two subs on two different occasions, both were horrible

First one was an Italian ham. Absolutely drenched in vinegar, so gross. And on top of that, they added vegetables that had been marinating in vinegar too. Come on. Didn’t even toast it

Then I got a chopped cheese that was so nasty I couldn’t finish it. It was soggy and super greasy. They add fries inside the sandwich because the meat is so little, but the fries go straight from the fryer into the sub, which gives it a lardy, greasy, nasty flavor

Driving here for a late night craving to find out it’s a ghost kitchen isn’t ideal

How hard is it to get an order right? Do they exclusively hire retards at this place?

Ordered through Fat Sal’s website on Saturday at 1pm. Got a notification that the food was ready 20 minutes later. Showed up and knocked like the sign said. Knocked repeatedly and waited for 25 minutes. No one answered. Called the phone number listed on Google multiple times and left a message. Never got my food. Now I’m going to have to figure out how to get my money back. Fat Sal’s shouldn’t be able accept your order if they are closed. Buyers beware! Definitely not worth losing money over! Go to the Heights instead where you can talk to a real person

This google posting should be taken down. This is not Fat Sals, it is a ghost kitchen. Hack move and extremely misleading.

Venice outpost of popular fat sandwich and burger shop. Came here post-Venice Run Club with a friend and we left fully satiated. You order at the counter and pay, and then you can seat yourself. There’s open air indoor as well as fully outdoor seating. There’s a soda machine that dispenses water and there’s also two single occupant restrooms that have coded key locks. Credit cards accepted. I had the fat hot chick and my friend had the new sandwich that wasn’t on the regular menu yet. We traded halves and so got to try both. We also split an order of fries, although note that you can ask upgrade to a combo which includes fries and a drink. They have heavy milkshakes as well. The sandwiches are really filling and we had my other half the following day for lunch. It kept relatively well.

Kind of a disappointment. The sandwiches looked nothing like the pictures. They tasted good, but nothing special.
