Visiting the area. Salt and Straw had a ridiculous line…happened upon this spot. Amazing selection of gelato flavors. Unreal actually! Anything you want or could imagine. Service friendly and helpful. And they have delicious vegan chocolate chip cookies 🍪. Would recommend!
Too many flavors to be daily made like it is supposed to be. More than 40 flavors displayed and (even with the empty store) they gave me only 2 samples (!).
Some flavors are good, some others are too watery and some looked not fresh. They have unusual flavors if you want to experiment.
Such a wide range of flavors from vegan options, to so many different versions of chocolate and classics this is a for sure recommend! They have a virgin mojito and passion fruit flavour that are both vegan and so delicious on a hot day. I love that this place is also all gluten free so no need to worry about cross contamination.
A bit pricey...about $5 for one scoop of non-dairy Gelato otherwise it was good!
This is my go-to gelato spot in studio city. I love the wide range of selections and the diary-free options. The Kentucky chocolate (Tobacco) is my absolute favorite flavor since it’s rich and unique. Pairing that with a citrus or fruit flavor is divine! Parking is usually easy; I always find a spot on the street.
Amazing affogato, lots of options, and real Italian gelato of very high quality. The service was great, and very friendly. I love sitting outside in the evening whilst it's still hot, people watching. One of my favourite spots to do that in LA.

I had the pleasure of visiting Fatamorgana Gelato, and it was an incredible experience! The flight of 6 scoops was absolutely amazing – such a perfect way to try multiple unique flavors in one sitting. Each scoop was bursting with freshness and authentic taste, making it hard to pick a favorite. The presentation was beautiful, and the store’s ambiance added to the overall charm. Highly recommend stopping by for a treat you won’t forget. Attaching a video and photo to show just how wonderful this place is!

Staff were super friendly. So many flavors! We got the lemon basil, good strong flavor but too sweet. They had at least 5 different chocolate flavors, one was vegan and maybe GF? I'll try one of those next time.
Vegetarian options: A chocolate and most of the sorbets

Cute place inside, only bar seating. Staff not very customer oriented. They have 66 flavors which is great, most of them egg-free and/or vegan, which is even better. However, you can only taste try 3, which really doesn't work. My kids and i all had a cup with 5 flavors and hated most of them. Gelato is watery and not creamy at all. The fruity flavors are mostly nice. Expensive and small scoops

Delicious. Great selections with interesting flavors. About 66 different varieties. 8 different kinds of chocolate. Vegetarian selections. 2 flavors for 6.99 and they equal to one scoop. Most other places give you 2 scoops for that price but they don't have this selection to choose from. Overall worth the experience.
Parking is challenging. Metered only!

The person who works here now - I had a chance to meet him on July the 23rd,
takes someone else’s work place and doesn’t fit the vibe of the ice cream shop. Extremely unhelpful, lazy and slow. He was silent most of the time when I was trying to ask about new flavors etc. He did look and sound as he was there as a temporary worker who had been in the place for no more than an hour and not going to be back. No genuine interest to help guests navigating their exploration of what’s new or good here.
Also, he was remaking my coffee 3 times while my ice cream was melting - the idea was to enjoy it together with the coffee. First time he made caffeinated coffee instead of decaf . Then, made the coffee sweet with sweetened oat milk, but this I can understand. Then I asked him to make just a short Americano, literally half a cup and showed him exactly in the cup how much water to add. Guess what. He took his time - like 5-7 min (and the store was empty at the moment) and gave me Americano full cup of water. Not coming back while this unenthusiastic gentleman is here. It feels like he doesn’t appreciate neither his job nor
customers.
Btw. This is not a true gelato. It’s ice cream loaded with sugar so badly that the flavor gets lost in it, but it’s only if you know the difference and have tried a real Italian gelato.

Very very good gelato. Some of the most creative and expertly crafted that I’ve seen in LA. Especially on these summer days, it’s a great place to stop in for a cold treat.
