I went in while my dad and I were waiting on our laundry next door. As soon as we entered, they greeted us warmly. We opted for a chocolate croissant, a house coffee and an Irish latte. Everything was delicious, tasted fresh and was high quality. In my opinion, the quality and cost were great and far exceeds that of a generic Starbucks. I will be coming here to get my coffee from here on out. Highly recommend!

I enjoy supporting small businesses. This cozy cafe, is clean, friendly, and inviting. They provide a regular menu that can accommodate my diet restrictions. Also, they have a “seasonal” menus that changes. So, if you get bored, or just want something imaginative and out the box… they’ve got you ?. The Lox toast is delicious and addictive ❤️. It’s tasty, tangy, filling, and my favorite!!! Worth every bite

Dietary restrictions: Fence has alternative option for my dietary needs. I can’t have milk and I have to watch my sugar. I love this place.

Really cute spot! Best local option I could find in the area. I got a single-origin black coffee & a delightful croissant. The staff was so so kind and the music was pleasant. There’s a little bit of seating available inside & outside. I got an iced oat milk matcha to go as well.

Seasonal specials are so unique! I ordered apple butter beer and lucky number 8, both taste amazing!Friendly staff and no pressure to find parking.

Pretty good coffee but not sure their pricing is competitive in the neighborhood. They probably get much more foot traffics if the price is 5-10% down. They are super serious with coffee (therefore coffee is good!) but the place might need to be organized.

I like their seasonal signature drinks like matcha strawberry milk and butterscotch latte in Fence Coffee. The idea of a signature latte that they fence coffee showed it’s special among the other coffee shop, and the servers are always amiable and well explain about drinks.

It was a bright sunny April day when I was greeted warmly in the happy orange-walled space of FENCE COFFEE. I was in the middle of my exploration of Los Angeles coffee shops — FENCE put a pin in this expedition as I was amazed at the creativity and dedication of the power team owners, Steve and Kevin. I soon found myself anticipating my next visit. Located in the Historic Harvard Heights neighborhood, the pocket-sized FENCE is monumental. You might notice remnants of the frozen yogurt shop that once stood in the space. The relaxed ambiance is suited well for studying or working, and parking is never an issue as there is a large parking lot in the back of the next door laundromat in addition to street parking.Everything is delicious and flavorful — even the drinks that have made me tilt my head to the side. It is these drinks that make me want to continue exploring the menu at FENCE. Syrups, such as the vanilla and lavender, are made in-house. The drinks vary from rich, deep, and complex to light and sweet. The food made in-house is delicious, in addition to the featured sweet and savory pastries.Favorite drinks:Iced Matcha LatteFrozen Lotus (rotating flavors) — basically a slushy; amazing.Strawberry Milk with matchaKyoto Single Origin Cold BrewIced Hibiscus Berry tea — refreshing; try it sweetened.Black Sesame Cold Brew LatteFavorite food:Matcha Pistachio croissantLox ToastEverything croissantWith a seasonal and changing menu of delicious and creative drinks, keep yourself open to trying new things besides your usual, you will not regret it.

Our favorite spot!!The coffee is delicious, house made vanilla syrup, super cozy and meticulously clean with lots of drink options and the best cookie. Two of the nicest brothers who own it, always smiling and providing the best customer service. Since I live nearby, we stop by at least 3 times a week for my favorite iced latte and a treat for my dog who is always excited when I say “coffee time”, since she knows she is getting to see her friends at Fence!!

Place is like water in a (coffee) desert - a very nice coffee shop in the middle of nowhere. The avocado toast here is great - highly recommend pairing that with their strawberry espresso or matcha.Plenty of street parking is available and a 15 min section for those picking up.Venue is clean and modern - good for one on one conversations.Don't give your money to Starbucks! Come support this shop - their product and service is much better.

The ardent orange color at FENCE makes a statement that stays true throughout my countless visits: it's fun to be here. My introduction to FENCE was a chestnut latte, equally delicious for the eyes and the taste bud. Then I had hot choc with marshmallow, dirty strawberry milk, affogato, tropical cold brew, coffee shaved ice...the wonderful drink list goes on and on. At FENCE, I'm willing to, in fact, I want to try anything and everything. The one time I had a cortado, it was golden too.FENCE's fantastic seasonal drink–scoffee, tea, non-alcoholic cocktails—play with flavors and textures. It is not afraid to experiment and its creative energy is immense and invigorating. This is not the place to stick with a go-to drink; it's one that invites you to grow with it and to have fun.The young barista/bartender owner duo Steve and Kevin are humble, kind, genuine, and diligent. I always feel appreciated at FENCE, not just as a customer but also as a person who is there in their journey. This one-year-old shop is beloved by its regulars the way people adore their neighbors' toddlers and FENCE loves them back by offering itself to the community in pop-ups and events. I made friends with some of their regulars, that speaks volume.Of all the coffee shops in LA, FENCE is the one I really want to root for and grow with.

Slowly becoming one my favorite new locales in the area. The location is cozy, but perfect to come and do work. The coffee options are plenty and really enjoy the ambiance. Pastries are great too. Happy to see the location thriving in and bring new life to the neighborhood.

Several grades of matcha to choose from for lattes?!! They are knocking it out of the park. Wow. We’ll done y’all! Pastries are tasty, drinks are superb, and service is exquisite. Super friendly and welcoming.

Literally my favorite place. They’re always coming out with new drinks every season and they’re always so good! This is the place to go for drinks as a foodie. The way they blend flavors are fun and delicious and nothing is ever too sweet. Oh and the pastries and food… I’ve tried a lot and seriously every single thing has been great. You really can’t go wrong with anything you order here.

Lovely coffee shop with friendly staff, delicious coffee and yummy pastries of awesome varieties (loved the guava/cream cheese croissant). Quick service and good recommendations for things to do in SoCal. Only had two mornings in LA and came here twice.
