Love the dishes. House made pasta. Mussels Steamer. Beet salad. Escargots. Ham and sunny egg crepe. Bread with butter and olive oil. Blueberry cheese cake.
We also came back for coffee. It's a nice place with nice hosts.
I guess the only thing can be better is that bread could be on the house. It's a lunch time though. I would expect the dinner comes with bread.

Figaro Bistrot has become one of my favorite institutions in Los Angeles. I’ve only been a handful of times, but each time, I’m always impressed. The staff, the atmosphere, the food quality… all superb.

My FAVORITE dish is the Prosciutto-Arugula Pizza. It’s really to die for. Some other favorites include the French Onion Soup, Goat Cheese Salad, Calamari (fried), and Burrata. Have also tried the Steamers, Escargot, and other amazing items. They DO have a happy hour, I forget the exact times and days, but be sure to check it out for some discounted dishes. Love their selection of wines and cocktails. And be sure to end your decadent feast with some Crème Brûlée. Can’t wait to get back here.

The food was just okay, but for how expensive everything is, it was pretty disappointing. Baguette did not taste good, and didn’t have a great texture. The Monaco was not a great balance of grenadine to beer. Not very authentic tasting French food from what we had.

Classy joint. Loved the service. I really enjoyed the vintage vibe of this place. It was a bit noisy and I wish the lounge area was open, especially because it was a Friday. Plenty of veggie options. Menu had more cuisines than just French. My recommendation, go on weekday, during a less busy hour, take your time, order an eclair and the French press, and enjoy. Quinoa salad and hummus were also good.

This place is a brunch dream come true! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite feels like comfort and joy. Whether you’re craving something sweet or savory, there’s something for everyone. The vibe is relaxed and fun, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends over coffee (the huge late is a must), mimosas and great conversation. Definitely my go-to for a delicious brunch outing!

This place is so fun and good and has such an amazing happy hour from 4-8pm. Quality French food and you really feel the east LA vibes when you sit on the patio and enjoy a nice glass of wine and appetizer while watching the people and cars go by. Highly recommend going here on a date or even alone if you want a nice bite and drink.

Canele was delicious and only $3.00. Mille-feuille was $7.50 and bigger than others. When I go out for a meal next, I plan to have branch and definitely get another canele.

I used to come here weekly in the early 2000s. I don’t remember if the food was better or worse then. Went in for happy hour over the weekend and was pretty disappointed. First off the place is looking very rundown—paint chipping off the walls, looks like it needs a good cleaning and a little care. The food was mediocre. We had crab cakes (very greasy) , a mini figaro burger (which came with a plastic slice of American cheese), a salad that was basically a handful of Sysco mixed greens in bland dressing. Escargot was decent. Fries were like McDonald’s—which I guess people like, but they tasted packaged and processed, so not a hit for me. None of the food seemed fresh—I won’t go back—quality just wasn’t worth the spend.

Loved my Salmon Caesar salad. I sat on the sidewalk and it felt like a little French bistro. The menu is extensive.

Went on the weekend for brunch (my third time) as I was catching a movie at the Los Feliz Cinema. The service was terrible, which seems to be the norm at Figaro. The young Asian male waiter (I would've used his name but he didn't introduce himself) was rude and non-attentive. We had to wave him down to order, for which he was not impressed. At no point after he took our order did he come back and check on us, we really wanted to order another round of drinks for our table. We had to wave down a server for the bill, which the same waiter brought out to us and hovered around to see what tip we were leaving him. The upside was that the food and cocktails were delicious. The servers who brought out the food and cocktails, and cleared them, were super friendly. Management has to do something about their waitstaff, they are they only team letting down this place as the servers and bartenders are great.
