I feel so lucky to have this coffee shop within walking distance. The baristas are always kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. It’s the kind of place that creates a real sense of community. You can come here to relax, get some work done, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee on the patio.

The BEST coffee shop in LA! We visited this coffee shop numerous times during an extended stay in LA. They have a fabulous variety of different coffees from numerous roasters; I enjoyed several different pour overs during our many visits. The team are amazing too! Very talkative, welcoming and polite.

I was really looking forward to trying this coffee shop since they partner with Ginza Nishikawa bakery. Unfortunately, it ended up being a pretty disappointing experience. While I was waiting for my matcha, I realized that the bakery order I picked up was missing an item. When I asked one of the staff members about it, he seemed really annoyed and refused to double-check their records. He even asked if I wanted him to give me someone else’s order, which felt really rude and passive-aggressive.

Thankfully, another staff member was kind enough to actually check the order sheet and found my missing item in the back. I’m grateful to that staff member for resolving it, but the overall attitude from the first employee really left a bad taste. Honestly, if I had known that’s how I’d be treated, I wouldn’t have ordered anything. The matcha wasn’t that great either, so I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

This coffee shop carries that name for a reason and I'm totally impressed by the peculiar concept they're trying to offer. Decorated the venue with bunch of old Apple monitors, probably some of the earliest generations, which look like still able to be used.

Plenty of seats available, with most of them come with low coffee table, as it's gonna say that the place is more created for casual hangouts than people sit and work or study.

They offer handful selection of pastries, which will still be complete if you come relatively early or at least before noon. I went for their Miso butterscotch cookie, which again was uncommon here in LA. I love the overall taste and the cookie came in right gooeyness level, but I wouldn't call it my fave. Besides, I could taste more of white chocolate than either butterscotch or miso. Not complaining though!

The highlight was doubtlessly their Japanese Black Sugar a.k.a JBL Latte. Precise level of sweetness with bold coffee flavor. I loved the aroma as well as the taste, perfectly suited my coffee preference. My friend had their Mocha and she said one of her most fave in town!

Stopped by while exploring the neighborhood. Plenty of seating, great wifi, and good music. Grabbed an iced americano & the strawberry almond croissant … blown away. Will absolutely add this to my rotation of favorite spots!

Need to circle back and praise the croissant, one of the best pastries I’ve gotten in LA.

I like this place, good cuppa Joe, pretty chill vibe, and I like Royce, the owner, a nice, interesting guy.

my usual order - iced flat white with oat milk - 10/10 taste from 1st sip. not a huge fan of califia oat milk, but it still tastes great in the finished drink.

There are few things in life that make me feel truly alive: fresh sheets, a good hair day, and the cream top on my JBS latte from File Systems of Coffee.

I don’t know what kind of magic is happening behind that bar, but this cream top is seductive. Silky, velvety, a little cold, a little sweet—it kisses the top of the espresso like it knows exactly what it’s doing. I take one sip and suddenly I’m blushing. It’s giving foreplay.

And just when you think it can’t get better… there’s Royce, the owner. Warm smile, soft voice, and the kind of energy that makes you want to tell him your whole life story before your order’s even ready. He’s the reason this place doesn’t feel like just a coffee shop—it feels like a little pocket of peace. Like your favorite secret.

The shop itself is cozy and unpretentious, just the way I like it. No corporate coldness, no fake smiles—just great coffee, real people, and cream tops that should probably come with a warning label.

I only let myself go on weekends, which honestly feels like I’m rationing joy. But that’s what makes it special. It’s my reward, my ritual, my little indulgent affair down the street.

If File Systems ever discontinues the cream top, I will spiral.
Until then… I’ll be here. Sipping. Swooning.

I’m so grateful to live in the neighborhood and be able to walk over to this cozy little coffee shop. As someone who loathes corporate-style coffee chains, this place truly checks all the boxes. It has a unique and inviting atmosphere, the staff is friendly (no L.A. attitude) and the coffee is delicious! I find it very pleasant to bring my laptop and get some work done here. I highly recommend the iced mocha — the chocolate they use is vegan :) It feels good to support a small local business that just gets it right. ☕️❤️

Great menu. Really delicious espresso, the flavor continues to develop as you drink it and it’s a treat. It’s a bit minimalistic/dim inside, but plenty of seating if you want to work/study. Very friendly service too!

I love the overall idea of the vibe, but when I went it seemed liked that area was closed.

I’ve driven past this place multiple times and popped in for a quick latte to scope it out. Super kind staff and yummy coffee. Good, low key vibes all around and seems like a good place to work or have a quiet place to catch up with a friend. Will come again!
