Has a hipster meets Severance vibe. There is quite a lot of seating - both inside and out despite there only being a couple of tables. The whole layout maximizes efficiency. I got a table and it was the perfect spot to work remotely for a few hours and I certainly wasn't the only person who had that idea. Barista was pleasant. I got an Americano and it was alright. Though I feel like I missed out not trying one of their specialty drinks. Nice spot to work from.

This cafe quickly became my new favorite - for their uniqueness, specialty drinks and also the atmosphere! Every corner of the space (and menu) is very intentional which makes it impossible not to admire & enjoy. I love how every employee cares to remember your name, and leaves a kind impression for you to look forward to coming back again (and again). 11/10 service! As a traveler, finding new coffee shops has been a hobby of mine and I'll rave over File Systems of Coffee for anyone and everyone in LA.

this is truly one of my favourite coffee shops. they have amazing coffee and matcha (which is my go-to) which makes the price worth it *also they don't charge for milk subs*. the ambiance is retro-futuristic. it also has indoor/outdoor seating, free wifi, and great music (typically soulection). what makes this place so special for patrons, who are regulars like myself, is the authenticity and attentiveness from the staff (shoutout royce, daniel, gabby, nastasia). ever since i first came into the shop, they genuinely care about how you are and how they can provide you with the best cafe experience. they are all very passionate about the shop, coffee, and interpersonal relationships - it's very beautiful to see and it encourages such a light energy than other shops i've been to. because of this, their patrons are also very kind and open as well (i've met so many special people through at this shop).this is the textbook definition of a exceptional third space and i'm thankful to frequent here and have my "local coffee shop." can't recommend it enough.

new hidden gem! even though i found this on tiktok, i hope it doesn't blow up any more (only half kidding, because id love to see this cafe do well and flourish!). went on a wednesday and there were plenty of seats! this cafe has such a unique concept and aesthetic, i love it. it's very spacious and a huge plus was that there were outlets!! another plus was that it wasn't hard to find parking (might be harder on weekends), i was able to park on the neighborhood next to it no problem. definitely my new go-to spot if i wanna be in the area and get a lot of work done. i got the matcha jbs which is one of their specialties and as a matcha connoisseur, it was pretty good! they use japanese black sugar which i think adds their own touch to it. they are bit on the pricier side though (i paid $8 for my drink) but that's just the usual LA prices these days which i don't usually mind. i didn't really make any conversation with the workers but i did feel like the service was still nice and the cashier i had took the time to explain their matcha to me when i asked about it. based on other reviews, their coffee seems to be pretty popular too so next time im back, im definitely gonna try it out!! the lady next to me was also raving to the employees about how good their matcha donut was so im not missing out on that next time lol

My friend and I ordered the Matcha and Latte JBS. The matcha was good (but not the best I've had). They get high marks for not charging extra for alt. milk! Though it is expensive at 7-8 per drink. The service was fast and the staff was super sweet. They brought out the drink on the cutest plates for each cup and were supper accommodating when we asked for straws + to transfer the drinks to a to-go cup when we couldn't finish but had to leave. The ambiance was interesting. The location is near a busy street and we went when it was raining, so the cafe felt a little stuffy. I should return on day that's sunnier. There is some seating to get work done and sit with friends and chat. They leaned into the tech theme so if that's your vibe, this is a cool space.

10/10 This is not your average "pretentious LA coffee joint". From the second you walk in the door, they make you feel welcomed with warm personal service and cozy ambiance. These coffee gods truly know their stuff. They research their beans throughly, can talk to you for days about the process of each variety they carry and make you fall in love with it, appreciate it more, and definable keep you coming back. Do not skip the best pour over of your life, but be mindful that this process takes time.

Thank you CicLaVia Melrose for allowing me to have another fun Sunday bike thru LA and discover some exceptional coffee. Staff is cool and friendly; ask up if you’re not sure what type of coffee you want they will dial you in nicely. They serve Sugarbloom pastries another reason to visit. I had a Cortado and croissant this time around but will come back for their Japanese Black Sugar Latte. They also serve Matcha and loose leaf teas. ??

I came in late on a weekday morning and didn't have my computer with me otherwise I would have stayed all afternoon. Such a cool concept with simple/ functional space to work + chill in. Both the baristas working greeted me and service was super precise. The entire transaction kind felt like it was designed for efficiency and enjoyment kinda like the quote on the pastry bag. "That part where artistry and engineering are inseparable" The almond filling in this pastry was like caramel and gooey creamy and the outside was super flakey and crunchy! The Mocha (with oat milk) was powerfully caffeinated and tasted like lightly salted dark chocolate! You can get whatever milk substitute you want and they don't charge extra! Can't wait to come back

Situated in such a great corner with beautiful natural lighting. The setup is simple but cute. The benches though are really uncomfortable. Coffee is not good. Way too strong. Felt like shit the whole day after drinking it and I'm used to caffeine. They're one of the more expensive spots in the area too so quality doesn't match

The Japanese black sugar latte and hibiscus yuzu espresso tonic were excellent. Tanner was the nicest barista we've met in a long time! We were greeted immediately when we walked in, and he explained the menu and provided great recommendations (like getting the JBS latte hot instead of iced - the steamed milk really brought out the toasty, roasty flavors of the black sugar). The ambiance of the cafe was calm and clean and relaxed - not swarming with influencers and loud crowds like so many coffee shops these days are. It's rare to find a cafe with the quality of drinks, service, and good vibes that this location provides. We will be back!
