I ordered the Jambalaya Scramble (w/grits and a biscuit), and the Peach Cobbler French Toast.💣.....and yes, I got both things for myself. Everything had a high quality to it, and the portions were more than enough. Not to mention the service was top notch. Not that big of a venue, so groups of 4-5 may have to wait longer for a table, but I walked in solo and had a cup of coffee in front of me in less than 10 minutes.

The food quality here is excellent — definitely a 10 out of 10. The pancakes are unique and absolutely delicious; we love them and would recommend them to anyone. The $7.99 special is a fantastic deal: two pancakes, one strip of bacon, one sausage, and eggs cooked how you like them. For the price, it’s hard to beat.

The menu also has a wide variety of options: salmon croquettes, chicken wings, turkey sausages, turkey links, chicken links, homestyle fries, potatoes, grits, biscuits, and waffles. Everything I tried was flavorful and well-prepared, so I give full credit to the kitchen.

That said, the restaurant environment could use improvement. There was a fly inside, and I noticed hair on the table, which raised concerns about cleanliness. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate the cleanliness a 5. The fan was also very loud, which made the dining experience less relaxing.

Customer service was good overall — I’d give it a 7. The staff worked hard, but it seemed like they were understaffed. With only two waiters, things felt a bit stretched. I suggest hiring an additional person for cashier duties so the servers can focus more on customers.

The space itself could benefit from a remodel and some reinvestment into the building. Improving the cleanliness, updating the interior, and creating a more comfortable atmosphere would definitely help attract more customers.

On the positive side, the music was enjoyable and the big-screen TVs on the wall were a nice touch. With some upgrades and better attention to cleanliness, this restaurant could easily become a favorite spot.

They switched the catfish. First time I ate there I got two large nice pieces of fresh catfish. Today I got about six frozen catfish strips that tasted more like dough than meat and we had to wait 10 minutes for a glass of water

No greeting upon walking in. Finally someone sat us down with no menu's. We sat for about 10 minutes when I decided to ask the people sitting next to us if they'd been waiting long. Their response was yes, a long, long time. I thanked them and we left.

I went in on Sunday and it was super busy. I was placing a to go order and all of the food coming out looked so good. I could not wait to get my food. I order salmon croquettes, pancakes, and hot links. The total came to $53 with my tip and waited for my food. And waited. And waited. After almost an hour with my order not coming out, I asked for a refund which they did. I guess they gave my food to someone else. The cashier was very apologetic so even though my face was not happy, it was not her fault. I realized they did not refund my tip however. Waited all that time for nothing….

As a New Orleans native, I would NOT recommend ordering the seafood. My aunt (also a NOLA native) and I went for brunch today after reading the reviews & the food was very Underwhelming. We both ordered the side portion of the catfish & shrimp combo. I asked for the fish to be fried “hard” but it was undercooked. You get 4 colossal sized shrimp and they were tough. The yellow plastic plates were unappealing & our meals were randomly garnished with a tomato and orange slice! Similarly the homestyle potatoes were unnecessarily covered in chives. The $1 biscuit that folks raved about was mediocre. The best thing on the menu was the drink, “The Mix”. The meal was absolutely NOT worth the $55 + tip that was spent.
