Everything was delicious. I’ll be back here, especially after hiking up to Griffith Observatory.

Absolutely delicious food. This was the first time I've had African food, and I love it. The Somali 'samosa' was a favorite, as well as the chicken over rice.
The coffee was great too. One of the better coffees I've had in a while.

The atmosphere is inviting and warm. Parking is a challenge. The service was warm and friendly. I went here dinner however the selections are very limited. The dish I wanted to order is only available on lunch. The price is very expensive for the amount of food you get. The 3 sisters soup for $15 was just a tiny bowl. I was given incorrect dessert item from what I ordered. Mint Lemonade was refreshing.

The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone working there was so kind and accommodating. They took the extra time to help guide us with our order and were genrous enought to let us sample the various drinks. The lentil soup and tamarind drink were my favorite but the sambusas and Somali plate were also amazing. I can't recommend this place enough!

I did a cooking class there with chef Heidi through the Airbnb app. The team there was lovely, the food was delicious, we had a really beautiful time!

Didn’t take any pics of the food because I scarfed it all down, whoops! It was that good. Really enjoyed the short rib, so tender!! Really cute neighborhood spot, lovely owner and knowledgeable staff. I also came here for live music and it was nice!

I was so happy that they had opened a new location since I was a big fan of the original spot in Little Ethiopia. I’m not sure what happened. All they had was a small menu featuring “Native American food” and after the family meal and a bottle of wine I was out the door for $300 fir two and I got a series of totally BS under seasoned dishes. The salad was terrible. Every other dish was mid at best. The ice cream (native American?) tasted from a box. The server seemed to know nothing about the menu or wine. Maybe you go on a day they have decent food it might be better but the value was terrible. Wouldn’t recommend unless they have menu options outside of the theme like they used to. Why would a struggling place choose Native American and then not be able to execute it. Maybe it was educational that the Natives lived without seasoning.

This place is a PERFECT third space. It’s an INCREDIBLE restaurant meets coffee shop meets drop in coworking space. The space is beautiful and the vibes are perfect. They have free wifi and outlets everywhere. 10/10 this will be my every weekday spot

What an amazing place. Food, space, and energy are unmatched, great space for events and community—you can tell how much passion and love they put into their work, and the food/drinks are incredible! Will absolutely be back!
I cannot emphasize how much I LOVE this place. I come here to work almost every day. The vibes are just generally so good, I love the music they play and the staff is super friendly. It’s also way cheaper than other coworking spaces— you can do a daily pass for $15 dollars or a monthly pass for $100 (it evens out to like 5 bucks a day), which is half as much as the cheapest alternative. Plus the food and drinks are amazing. Cannot recommend enough.
Amazing food. Super fresh and delicious. Really great iced coffee and a variety of other drinks. Helpful and friendly staff too. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Parking is a bit tricky.
I needed a place to take a lunch meeting in Hollywood and I stumbled upon Flavors From Afar after seeing restaurants near me. LET ME TELL YOU, not only were there outlets a plenty - but the food was BOMB. I got the lamb sambusa bc I was trying to be dainty and not eat too much but I could have literally eaten 87 of those things. I washed it down with a hibiscus drink which was SO refreshing. They do a coworking membership too I think. Not sure what it comes with but honestly it's the perfect place to work with good prices and a fire vibe. Not to mention everyone was so friendly and kind. DEFINITELY coming back with my laptop!!!
Beautiful restaurant and great food! I think they recently reopened everything looks very new. The koshari was delicious and prices are very reasonable.
