Good food but it takes forever! I ordered some simple pupusas to go and I think I waited 25 minutes. I recommend calling ahead so you're not standing in a parking lot next to a bunch of drunk indigenous men or your good ol' fashioned American bums smoking crack and acting crazy. Too bad Bukele can't clean up Westlake/Pico Union like he's doing in El Salvador. But the surrounding area isn't under the restaurant's control so I'm not deducting any stars because of that. And I choose to live in this neighborhood so I'm "above that" in any way. Moving on, the inside of the restaurant is charming so next time I'd either eat inside or just Door Dash it. A little pricey though -- $4.75 for a pupusa. I just got back from El Salvador (first time visiting!) and had some great pupusas in Oloculita for like $1 or $1.25. Apples and oranges, I know. I just mention it for a comparison. Dang I miss El Salvador. Dios-Union-Libertad. And I'm not even Latino!

03-22-2024 Food 9/10! I ordered off Uber eats before even looking at the reviews on here lol so yes I was a little skeptical at first but I had no problems at all considering my first time here. I ordered Pupusas Revueltas, I only got three because we didn't think we would like it but my whole family actually wanted more! We should've ordered about 10 or something! I also ordered burrito de Asada, honestly in my opinion it's pretty good compared to the boring places on the street lol. Waitress over the phone was nice to me :)

The service here is HORRIBLE. I made an Uber order and made a mistake so I called them to see if they could replace 2 bean and cheese pupusas for 2 cheese ones instea. The lady who answer was SUPER RUDE ! And said she can’t after she told me my order was still there and I was okay fine then can you take away an orchata and give me two cheese ones and she still said no after she told me my order still was there and haven’t been picked up. Later she clicked on me telling me she was busy ! I paid 64$ for this order the least they could have done was change two pupusas that’s all super simple and easy nobody lose anything but me ! I didn’t wanted a refund nothing just two replace two pupusas that were the same price range ? never ordering from here AGAIN !

Someone very sweet ordered from this place for me. I was in the mood for a caldo and he mentioned he knew a great spot. I had the Caldo de Res, it's was delicious, it's came with two tortillas a side of rice, lemon, onion and cilantro. It was definitely everything I was told it was and more. The soup was nicely packaged and still hot when it arrived. Very tasty enough of each vegetable for me and the meat was tender even had a bone for my pup! I felt like my tias cooked it, try this place if you're feeling homesick and want something that feels like it was made at home!Would love to try there platanos con crema when I get a chance to visit actual the location.

The food is great, prices are fair, service is good. Just wish the music wasn't so loud and the location is not the best. But hey the food is worth going back, I'm going to go try their Caldos next. I had yuca & chicharron plus pupusas, which were both petty good.
I love this place the food is amazing, nothing but Salvadorian vibes a place I can call home, I love that they play good music when it comes to the jukebox the service is great very helpful, Spanish speaking environment so if you want to try it out be mindful it’s an experience.Vegetarian options: You can order anything that doesn’t have meat and you can sub something outKid-friendliness: They have kids meals for those that don’t want to eat muchParking: It’s a shopping center so it’s a little hard to find parking but each business has its on slots
