Flowering Tree is the best kept secret of the Hollywood Hills. From the moment you’re greeted by Sung (owner), you’re home. The KSF Sandwich is a delicate balance between savory & sweet! Sung has 25 years expertise in house roasting coffee beans and it shows! Plus, how can you beat breakfast with a view of the Hollywood sign! Cheers! xo

Unfortunately we cannot follow the reviews here. We chose the insider tip thanks to the good reviews. The ambience and the view were great, unfortunately the service was poor. We waited over an hour for toast and waffles. The drinks came after 30 minutes. The food was okay, it was really very fresh, but a bit small for the price. Unfortunately we found it a bit overpriced.

I think I have beautiful memories of LA thanks to the really delicious meal. The atmosphere of the cafe, the sunlight that had not yet fully set, and the stories I shared with the owner were all enjoyable. This is a cafe that I would definitely recommend to others.

Second time up here and it was closed when it was supposed to be open. Hours say it closes at 5pm. The employee said it closes at 3pm but it was 2:45pm and he said closed anyways (turned my business away). I walked up here in 100 degree weather and they can’t even stay open according to their hours! Not giving this place another chance. I would call before going since they close whenever they want. No wonder the place is always empty.

Friendly and attentive service, good food, and great coffee. And wasn't busy at all when I visited on a Saturday morning.

Parking: Plenty of parking for the small crowd usually present.

This place needs to update Google hours. We showed up this past Sunday because it said open and when we got there around 10am, nobody was there. Completely closed and dark. We walked a long way to get up here and were thoroughly disappointed, annoyed and hungry. Very unfortunate experience.

Absolute hidden gem. Beautiful plating and amazing taste.
The owner is super very friendly and attentive. The balsamic glaze she makes in house is magical.

Don't be fooled by initial appearances, Flowering Tree is excellent. Exactly the sort of small indie shop with lots of heart that I want to see grow and prosper. Eating here a highlight of our LA trip.
