Headed to the East Coast, and since I've been to Rock N Brews many times, I decided it was time to try something new. The Filing Station was right next door. Our server alerted us immediately that their system was down, so they were cash only. He was quick and friendly. We had lunch at Ford's in LAX Terminal 5 while waiting for our boarding to start. I picked Ford's because it seemed quiet and had padded seats. The waiter, Joseph, was a true delight. Polite, funny and engaging, he didn't have an ounce of L.A. snobbery in him. The real surprise was the food. I'm still thinking about that Smoked Turkey sandwich with pimento cheese.
