Formaggi is a highly recommended, no frills kosher Italian restaurant in Los Angeles, serving delicious and fresh food. The menu features fantastic homemade pasta, including incredible fresh Bucatini and a refreshing, flavorful Limona pasta. The gnocchi is melt in your mouth. Pizzas are phenomenal, with a perfect crust; the vodka sauce pizza and margarita pizza are both standout. The mozzarella sticks are a must-try. Good salads have the right ratio of ingredients. Portions are generous, like the mac & cheese which can serve two. It is a nice place with a good atmosphere, offering both indoor and outdoor seating with very quick service. It is perfect for families or friends and also provides catering. The quality is reflected in the price. Parking is on residential streets, so arriving early to read signs is advised. This place is a real gem.
