I came here for my partner's birthday and we had an amazing time! The service is top notch and the food is delicious. The ambiance is intimate and romantic, making it great for date night or gathering with close friends. If you're looking for a mature environment with great food, I highly recommend.

The female Maitre D had a confrontational attitude. We specifically booked inside seating. Someone in our party is always sensitive to cold air so I know we always book inside seating. She was like there's no note and did not even make any effort for accommodation. We sat outside at the end since it's a Saturday night and we didn't want to just go anywhere. The whole evening started off on this awful air. Let's just say it was not enjoyable at all. Food was decent waiter was good. Ambience was not bad. I have the view where the front desk is. There's like constant arguments amongst the staff. And I can see the inside dining room too. There were a lot of tables and let's just say they were not filled. Prejudice? Arrogance? Ego? Who knows. I was hoping I would love this place as I liked the italian restaurant that was at this same spot before. And it's one block from my place. Sadly I will not be taking my friends here or return to it again.

Delish and adorable, a little gem. The drinks, the vibe, the steak frittes were all the best. I ordered it med rare and it was perfect the first time. Yummy Brussel sprouts salad and ahi tartare for starters. The atmosphere was so fun the table next to us sent us an extra dessert. When does that ever happen? But that was the joy of the place. This is an order - Get the Key lime pie and both the soufflés. Jeff our server elevated our celebration and kept our glasses full!! Run don't walk.

Beautifully designed restaurant in a great location. Recently went for their newly opened lunch hours and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing dishes that were priced beyond reasonably. One of the best Caesar salad’s in the city for sure. Great wine selection. Tuna tartare was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection and accompanied with a beautiful peppercorn sauce. Staff and owner are extremely kind and welcoming. Will definitely be making this one of my regular spots. 10/10

Had a wonderful dinner here with my wife. We had never heard of Foxhall but was pleasantly surprised with amazing appetizers and a great steak. The service was also amazing. Highly recommend.

My husband and I loved our first experience last nite ( a pre Valentines celebration) at Foxhall. The ambiance is lovely- warm and cozy with an east coast vibe. We were in the mood for a traditional steakhouse kinda dinner- shared the ribeye cooked perfectly with a pepper corn sauce- a wedge salad, roasted potatoes, a grand mariner soufflé and 2 perfect dirty martinis. Our server, Mark was knowledgeable, extremely pleasant and his timing was perfect with our second martini lol. We did meet the owner, Kia who was charming. We were excited to hear that they will be adding lunch and a weekend brunch soon. We will be going back and highly recommend.

The steaks are like heaven, cooked just the way you like 'em! And the sides are mouthwatering. The staff here are like your foodie best friends, always ready with a recommendation or a joke to make your night even better.
Had confirmation of our reservation. Don't understand what happened. The restaurant was closed for a 6:30 Christmas Eve dinner for 4. Other people with reservations showed up too. Hope everything is Okay.

We had fish and steak and salads and tuna tartare and key lime pie and everything was delicious. The drinks were perfectly made. The only let down was the chocolate souffle - a bit too cakey and dry.

Space is nicely decorated for Christmas, would recommend for a date or evening with friends. The food was great! Porterhouse steak was plenty for two, potatoes gratin and broccolini were a nice touch. I would come back!

If you want msg surplus in your food and sleep for 2 days go ahead, otherwise stay away from this place. Did they say soufflés, they are like playdouh not for human consumption....
