Brad if you're reading this (I hope you do) My boyfriend and I absolutely adore you. We came in tonight (05/01/21) and Brad made our experience truly amazing. We're regulars already at Franklin and thought it couldn't get any better but Brad really just made our experience the most fun we've had there. I highly recommend having him as hour server if you get the chance and if the owner of Franklin is reading this I hope you give him a raise !!!

Please don't support this business. The owner does not pay his employees unless pressured and is a sexist gross bro. The food and the way this place is run is awful. He runs the Oaks and La Valita Cantina. These places have gone down hill. If you want to support a misogynistic business where he fires women based off of appearance, then come here! Gross and unorganized and ran poorly. I've never had good food or a good time here. Avoid avoid

OK food and Great service but not so good with the price. They charge $3.50 for bread, not a special bread just white bread for $3.50. I ordered $35.00 worth of food and there was an addtional $3.50 charge for bread. No where did it say that nor did anyone tell me when i asked for it. When asked about the charge their reply was that is what it is. I am not cheep and it is not the $3.50. You have to question a restaurant that has up charges for bread.If they are trying to save money what are they cutting back on? The quality of the food?

Waaaaaaaaay too salty. I couldn’t eat the salmon plate with mushroom mash potatoes. The molton chocolate cake was a molton chocolate brick. I’m super disappointed.

This was very good! We had the burgers and the whiskey late at night. I didn’t get to try the alcoholic milkshake, but it sounds super intriguing! Great selection but the Staff if what makes it. Super hospitable and made our vacation that much more awesome.
Came in for gf birthday, had the coolest bloody Mary's I could find, food was all good, menu was pretty impressive beyond what we orderred, loved the ascetic.

Quaint neighborhood eatery. Great breakfast and brunch menu. Had the chicken fried chicken. Highly reccomend. Limited seating options so be aware. Will return again.

We searched for good bloody mary's in the hollywood area and this place came up at the top. Holy smokes if you're looking for a good bloody mary with the whole shabang on top, this is the place to go. We ordered the Bloody Royale which came with all kinds of toppings - onion ring, slider, pickle, celery, pickled tomatillo, roasted brussel sprout, and a bacon-wrapped jalepeno. SO GOOD! The best part was that each of the included toppings were of high quality - the slider wasn't just a slider, it had carmelized onions and blue cheese on it, and the patty was quality beef. The japeneo was perfectly roasted and not too spicy. This is definitely a place we will routinely come back to!

After moving out out to Altadena last year, we haven't been able to hit up our old haunts like we used to. But when we recently got a babysitter and finally got a date night- there was no question where we were going. Franklin and Co, we missed you! Also, as a recently reformed vegetarian, I was now able to order more stuff from the menu. The lobster roll was heaven. Can't believe I'd been missing out on that before! It's nice to have a place, you know? And Franklin's our place.
