Classic hood burger spot. The service was good. Ordered the Colossal Burger and a medium order of Chili Cheese Fries. The burger was good but the fries didn't hit. Glad I tried it once, and it's always important to support small businesses.
Incredible lengua tacos here. The green salsa makes them impeccableš„
Takes a long time to get your food, but the burgers are good.

Fredās Burgers will always hold a special place in my heart. Growing up in LA, my parents would take us here every Friday, and it quickly became a family tradition. Now, 15 years later, even though Iāve moved out of state, I always make sure to stop by whenever Iām back in town. The taste has never changedāitās just as amazing and comforting as it was when I was a kid. Truly one of those timeless spots that feels like home with every bite.

Yea this will be our last time ordering from this place. Ordered 2 teriyaki steak burritos and as soon as we took the first bite meat smelled and tasted spoiled. Hope we donāt end up with food poisoning. We use to love eating from here but now I donāt whatās happening with the meat and itās starting to be like this everywhere. Could be a sign to go vegan

Fred's is the epitome of what your local (as well as hood) burger spot should be. It's definitely a spot that the locals frequent and keep in business. Everyone that comes here knows exactly what they want. The food here is great.
I heard so many people here ordering the Chicken Teriyaki dinner plate. I was dead set on getting a burger though, since this is a burger spot. Who am I kidding though? My big old butt had to order the aforementioned dinner plate as well. And I went with the Double Cheeseburger combo for my burger selection.
The burger was cooked to perfection, and so flavorful. The fries were great also. Right in between skinny fries and steak fries. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. A perfect fry indeed. The dinner plate was also amazing. The chicken and teriyaki sauce tasted great. And the cabbage mixed in there was a nice touch. It also came with a toasted dinner roll and small salad.
I highly recommend this spot. The food and the service is on point. The inside is kinda whatever, since it's plain and not the cleanest it could be. Not enough to deter me though. And their 1000 Island dressing is homemade, and absolutely awesome. Give this spot a try!

Fast service, friendly crew, the teriyaki Chicken bowl is so fire, I substitute the salad for fries lol
Freds has been the best burger spot for decades. I've been going here since 1994 when I first attended John Muir Middle School and still tastes the same 24+ years later. After moving back from up North, the first thing I wanted was Fred's Fries.
In 30 years that I been around that area I've never have step in untill now on my 38 years of life. Soo good wow
