This place is very cute. The food and drinks on the other hand seemed overpriced. We enjoyed the fresh guacamole molcajete and the chicken flautas.. but we're surprised by how little meat there was on the steak and shrimp combo fajitas. It was mostly a mountain of sizzling, bell peppers and onions in which the three shrimp and tiny portion of steak looked absolutely lost. The Mojito was actually delicious, but the bartender filled the glass to the tippy top with ice, leaving very little room for the actual Mojito. I really wanted to order another one but at $18.95 for about 3 sips total - that was a hard no.

Overcharged, menu prices are incorrect. Unaccommodating. Went for happy hour and was way over charged for what the menu said

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and was very pleased that there was no wait time. we came for the brunch and it was very delicious. They had so many options to choose from. They have breads they have tacos they even have sushi they have posole they have Menudo Carne margaritas they even had a mariachi band playing. The music was great. The vibes were great. The staff was friendly. They even have some one coming around to take pictures. The restaurant is located in the mall Plaza not too far from the parking structure. Location is great. Makes it easy to get to. Overall had a great experience, and I would recommend coming for a nice brunch with good people.

It's way too expensive for what you get. And not good at all.

Dismal sad place. Walked in there was no one to greet us, no one at the bar and not one server helping anyone. We grabbed two seats at the bar and sat down. 15 minutes later someone finally gave us menus and asked if we wanted to order. We did order reluctantly and the food was very bland. Beans tasted like they were canned, enchilada tortillas were still hard in some spots, the sauces had no flavor and the rice was totally a tomato mush. Place was super dirty and looked like the day after a Cinco de mayo party. But it was St. Patty's Day!! And to top it all of was SUPER expensive for that quality of food and experience. Won't be going back, too much to fix.

Delicious Mexican cuisine. My husband had the Mole Poblano ($35). He said the chicken was very tender and the Mole perfectly seasoned. It was served with the best plantains I've eaten. I had Chile Verde($27). Very nicely done with flavorful refried beans and sauce. The service was adequate, the restaurant was clean, but not up to par with the elevated prices.Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The food is 3 on a scale from 1 to 10. We had nachos w/chicken, steak tacos and enchiladas. The chips were ok, the salsa was not good. The water jalapeño margarita was ok. The service ok, not good.

I’m literally still sitting here and had to review because it’s rare a dining experience checks all the boxes.Upon walking in, we loved the vibe and atmosphere. Classy but casual and perfect for any occasion.Everyone we encountered who works here was wonderful. Everyone is attentive and most importantly, kind. Our waiter Arturo was especially delightful!Everything from the chips and salsa to the shrimp tacos to the elotes to the spicy marg was delicious, authentic, and cooked/made to perfection.

A lovely dining experience at the Frida Mexican Cuisine in Westwood for a Valentine's Day evening. The cocktails were excellent, opting for the Frida & Diego spicy Mezcalito, and the Signature craft Margarita. We dined on chips, salsa, and guacamole, and between the two of us shared the tres enchiladas with Mole, chicken, green, and poblano sauces. This was more than enough for two, and we left with full bellies.

This is a drinking hole. The food is an insult to Mexican cuisine. The soup, for example, was made from a package. The salsas were flavourless and the rice stale. Service was mediocre and the prices are high. I would avoid this place unless your taste is completely addled by tequila

We eat at Frida's all the time. The food is great, although a bit expensive for Mexican. The best thing about the place are the drinks, the staff, and the happy hour. If you ever are in Westwood (or Brentwood) and want to get a good bite to eat, Frida's is a great option.

Frida in Westwood has some pretty tasty dishes, but the sewer gas and bugs decided to join the party. Now we're gonna make the drive to the Beverly Hills Frida, hoping their plumbing game is stronger or maybe weaker is the better response?! LOL!

I stumbled in after a long day of meetings. I only went in because I saw lots of people inside having a good time. Service was excellent, very friendly and keen. However the steak meat was bad and so were the beans. Probably the worst mexican food I’ve ever had it was embarrassingly bad.I kindly and quietly told the manager, paid fir the meal, left a good tip and left. I understand the economy is ruff and the servers have limited control over food quality.Hopefully they fix the issue.

Big fan of the outpost at the Brentwood Country Mary. Food here was just as great - just the ambiance and service were a bit off (and didn’t really justify the price). A good spot to drop by - but still prefer the Brentwood outpost.
