I got a brownie and they are actually from Urth Cafe.
Cashier was super friendly.
I walked around the cathedral then got the snack. Very nice clean and big restrooms here.

Just go for the coffee and pastry. The rice that you see in the photo has seen better days.

Food is good, but we came for breakfast after mass and there was no coffee.?? They don't have enough employees to provide good service.

Nice outdoor seating and decent if limited food options turkey sandwich is good.
After Sunday mass, we dropped in for a quick lunch. We ordered the dish of the day: pasta with shrimps (there were a lot of shrimps ;) + 3 small tacos with different flavors.Affordable prices, tasty food.

If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.

Often times a church will provide free coffee and pastry. However at the Queen of Angel Cathedral breakfast items can be purchased at this cafe. The coffee and pastries tasted good. They also sell lattes. You can also purchase hot item such as breakfast burritos. I also noticed there is a lunch menu.Plenty of seating both outside and inside. I noticed most church goers don't come here as there was not a large line as I expected. Prices are on the slightly lower side relative to what you might find in downtown cafe.

Sadly, change of ownership has resulted in three times the price and none of the good food. Today had two meager cold sandwiches on stale croissant with a handful of stale chips for $30. Miss the $6.50 loaded tostada with house made salsa that would kick start your afternoon.

Service and people are super nice. Food is okay, not the best but its a great place to just snack on.
This is a go-to spot if I want an ice tea. The flavors of the tea pop out, and are far from bland. No need for sweetener, as the tea flavors give your taste buds a ride. I have had black and green ice teas and have not beer disappointed. Price is a bit steep, however, but the quality is magnificent.
