I am sorely disappointed with what they termed a valentine experience. The price tag far exceeded the value. There were some other places I wished we had chosen. The service was acceptable and the ambience was okay but for the price (over $400) I would never consider returning.

The woman working this morning was slow and rude.

We purchased four tickets for the New Year's Eve Murder Mystery. event. Tickets were $250 per person. Though the Biltmore is always lovely and especially so during the holidays, the event was a disappointment, and not worth the cost. On arrival, it seemed disorganized; there was no clear sign in or directions. After waiting in a line (that could have been avoided with planning and personnel), we entered into the Gold Ballroom, which looked like it was hosting a corporate event, not New Year's Eve. There were no centerpieces, flowers, or balloons - there was not a shred of decoration or anything to indicate it was New Year's Eve. The advertisement for the event featured elegant long tables with candelabras and low lighting- definitely not the room we had. We were also informed at the bar that only water would be provided (!) and a small glass of house wine cost $20 and cocktails $30. In addition, you had to refill your own water. The mystery itself seemed amateurish except for the detective emcee, who was excellent. Very few of the actors engaged with the guests; there needed to be more performance from the actors as the detective had to carry the entire show. This unfortunately made for an evening that was not engaging or cohesive and was even somewhat tedious. Add to this mediocre entrees and rock hard rolls along with self serve water, and you have a disappointing and expensive New Year's Eve.

FOOD WAS NOT FRESH. SHOW VERY LAUSY. THE PRESENTATION WAS JUST STUNDING UP FOR AN HOUR AS SUPPOSE TO HAVE A RELAX WAY ON THE TABLE AND FOR THE PRICE SHOULD BE OFFER AT LEAST A GLASS OF CHAMPAIGNE

We were astonished at the beautiful display of food and how much was offered for the Christmas Brunch. Well worth the trip, and a great value for the price. It was held in a large ballroom, so it was a bit loud when it was full of people, so definitely didn't need the piano playing adding to the noise level. But it got quieter as the people finished and left. The staff took great care of us.

The Biltmore is stunning and the service was wonderful! I think the buffet area could use a bit more Pizzaz!!! It's a little grandma in there, although most of the food was good. More decorations & the serving tables need a little more decor too. They could drape cloths & stagger the serving heights! The centerpieces were fake & unattractive.

This was a fantastic buffet and lovely experience. There was a huge variety of dishes including many vegetarian options, and the tables were sufficiently spread out so it didn't feel cramped. The piano player was a great touch too.

Elegant and delicious. Our family rates the Biltmore a 10 out of 10 for holidays. We have been faithful patrons of the Biltmore holiday events for 45 years. Cheers and thanks for a lovely Christmas lunch! Looking forward to spending Mother's Day, Easter and Christmas with you in 2026!!!!! So glad the events are back to the ballroom.

Know that there is a validation at the tea that gives a discount when paying for parking. The decor was not Christmas-forward as expected. It relied on the architecture, which is lovely. There was no history provided on the menu for the historic hotel. As a native, I was disappointed.

Always such an amazing experience this is why I return off it. The staff is very friendly at tentative and always on point. I would always highly recommend this place for afternoon tea.

Ambience is great, for quick bites 👍🏻. Quiet and service was good as well. This is inside the Biltmore Hotel. I liked the Caesar salad that I ordered. The dessert is just okay. Good to meet someone and have a little talk.

For the price I don't think the experience was as good as it can be. It was a good tea service but I've had better and for less money.

The physical plant at the Giltmore Bar & Grill in the Biltmore, Los Angeles is high caliber. Elegant room, solid cocktail list, and a setting that signals premium. Unfortunately, the service experience does not match the promise of the venue.

From the first drink onward, service became single threaded to the initial server. No one else would take an order, refresh water, or close the check. Colleagues walked by without engaging, as if account ownership belonged exclusively to the first waiter. As a European guest, this was unexpected and not customer friendly. In most EU hospitality environments, service is executed as a team sport with shared accountability. Here, the compensation structure appears to create silos that block basic throughput and result in avoidable wait times.

This is one of the best teas you can find! Great scones, although they should be served warm! Finger sandwiches, little cakes and pastries like mini lemon meringue, chocolate cake and sandwiches toppped with caviar! All very tasty and paired with beautiful China, with sugar cubes and various assorted teas. There should be a better selection of teas too... the staff is attentive and polite and the place is so elegant and historical too so quite memorable

The afternoon tea food was great. Wanted more tea though. Lack of tea service was a little disappointing
