If your ordering delivery service don't bother. Unless you want your order delivered within 2hr time frame then be my guest. The fact that there's an estimated time on app yet they fail to meet those standards is unprofessional. If your busy or understaff just simple turn off the online food apps that way you don't waste customers/drivers time. Merchants like this place feel entitled to make everyone wait rather than take a smarter approach by taking walk in orders rather than overload themselves by taking all order on demand like if they can handle pressure. Customers have meetings or events, plus people on the lunch breaks can't just take there breaks whenever you want it. Please be more respectful about others time

My coworkers and I stopped by there for lunch. It is very hidden and you have to look to find the place. We were a little confused about its operations. There was no door or signs to show how to navigate ordering or dining. After a few minutes of us looking around a you d lady popped her head out of a window and asked sis about ordering. She mentioned it will take a little longer for sandwiches since they were waiting on bread. Just then, another gal sprinted out the door and came back with bag of bread. We all ordered sandwiches and walked out back to sit. Very nice hipster like atmosphere. There were two people already sitting and eating. We picked a table, had to clean it ourselves with the sled serve napkins and water. Yes self serve everything. We waited almost 30 minutes for the sandwiches to come out. I ordered the beef lemongrass sandwich but when I unwrapped the sandwich it was chicken! The label said beef but it was chicken. I was so upset, hungry and disappointed. I had to wait for the girl at the window to get done with orders before I can inform her of my issue. No apologies, they just handed me another beef sandwich. . The sandwich was good. The sauces had a lot of flavors that blended well. The sandwich is very similar to a Vietnamese banh mi. After eating we had to clean up our own trash. Yes it is all self serve. Not sure why we tip. Overall I would like to come back and try another dish since the food was delicious.

beautifully hidden eatery located in the Lincoln Heights, Gamboge is delicious Cambodian restuarant. I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and was able to find seating in their outdoor patio, with an adorable bar set in the back. I ordered a Chill Pork, which had nicely grilled pieces of seasoned cut pork, and additional toppings like fried shallots, and peanuts. Th dish had amazing rice and tasted yummy overall. My friend on the other hand purchased the spicy pork numpang, a dish similar to a bank mi tucked in a baguette. The ambience of the place felt nice and welcoming. I adored the beautiful flower arrangements decorating the space. I could imagine visiting there often and hope to revisit this place soon. :) Additionally, the workers are super sweet and chill too.

Hidden away, this hidden gem is a great spot to sit with a cup of Joe or bottle of beer. This lowkey spot is easy to miss but should DEFINITELY NOT BE. The jazz music plays in the background while you sit comfortably enjoying your food and drink. The food comes out fast and together so you'll be able to enjoy your food together with your group. Serving time was very quick so if you're in a rush or just on a lunch break, you can easily be in and out within an hour. Comment: I felt transported away from the area. The backyard and seating felt like something that belonged to an Oceanside resort. 10/10 would definitely be back to try their other dishes! Order: spicy pork sandwich and spicy pork rice bowl with self serve water

Hidden gem. The spicy pork sandwich is their best. This was our go-to takeout during the pandemic. Travels great.

Lovely location with a large back patio, restaurant seems set up for mostly outdoor dining and I would suggest coming here for a quaint date night. The back bar looks very sweet and the soundtrack is lovely. Food is good and the menu seems plentiful so I will certainly be back with an even bigger appetite

Wowww. Stellar food and hip, modern ambiance. They have an adorable back patio that’s quiet, spacious, and feels like someone’s home. Service was great, and everything on menu looks amazing. They have natural wines too. I got the spicy pork sandwich — incredible. Complex spice, fresh herbs, and great bread. Worth every penny!

Gamboge? more like Garbage. In excusable. I made an order and after 40min of waiting for the food and seeing every single person besides one table have food, one of the runner came to my table and ask if I was "Alex" to deliver an order. I said "no...I wasn't asked for my name, I order etc etc, can you check on my order? ". 5-10 min goes by and the runner never came by and I go up to check on my order myself...the white chick with the bandana who took my order told me they lost my order ticket. How is that possible? how are you that careless? They gave me a refund and that's it...at least 45 mins of waiting and all you do just give me a refund? I'm hungry as hell and all they did was just give me a refund? Refund my 45min of lost time and starvation! How would you like if I stood in front of your order line for 45 min and stop you from operating and all I said was "sorry" If you're going to take my order and then ask for tip in the front screen and I give a tip and you see every single table have food, check in on your customers, pretty simple. You're charging a lot for basic SEA food that's in the ghetto...do a little more. You get better service and attention at any of Asian restaurant in Chinatown/626 area.

Started with the corn esquires and it was a revelation. It had some chilis on it to give it a lil kick. Who new corn could tasted this good?? Then got the roasted mushroom numpang. Absolutely the best sandwich I ever had. It's savory, a little sweet, a little spicy, and very satisfying! A great vegetarian option. Will be coming back to try more stuff like the bowls!

Overall: 4/5. Very good food, top notch ambiance / setting (outdoor seating and mood is killer!), superb service. Would come back Came to Gamboge after reading about it on Infatuation. We came early evening - unfortunately they were out of their sandwiches but had two specials left to try. Chicken + rice porridge and a curry. The food was good with a "modern" take on it - light, not oily, etc. Personally, I'd prefer something with more punch. The food was still very good though and we enjoyed our meal. The outdoor area was such a nice surprise. So comfortable, awesome ambiance, perfect place to spend an evening or any time during the day. I'd come back
