listen - it is a café at the bottom of a mid size office building. there are likely thousands of cafés just like this across the city. But don't let the unusual location dissuade you - the Garden Café is an oasis of quality food at very reasonable prices. where else in this town can you get a large coffee and a sandwich for less than $10? where else can you get a regular size coffee for $2? I've only had the breakfast sandwiches, but I found them extremely delicious...
I love it here. They have a great menu and great selection of food. The prices are very reasonable too. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. They have smoothies, different coffees and lattes, soda machine, bottled and canned drinks, snacks.

Garden Cafe in downtown Santa Monica is a quaint little cafe hidden away inside a huge plaza. The charm it has is matched by the incredibly friendly service they provide. It can a be a bit tricky to track down, but once you enter inside the plaza building it'll be right on your right hand side. I got the Hawaiian burger and it was out of this world good. I've never had one before but If I'm ever in Santa Monica again I will return for that delicious burger. My wife...
