I came here because so many people kept recommending their breakfast burrito while I've been doing my Best Vegan Breakfast Burritos in LA series, and now I completely understand why. It's also been featured in the LA Times and is one of their best sellers.
The burrito is loaded with egg, sausage, potatoes, avocado, pico, cheese, and their house chipotle sauce. The flavor combination is really well balanced and very satisfying. My biggest tip is to add the bacon and jalapeños; that combo really elevates the burrito and brings out even more flavor.
I also tried the vegan chicken burger, which was another great surprise. The texture was solid, the seasoning was on point, and it paired really well with the toppings.
Overall, this spot delivers on flavor and creativity, and it's easy to see why people keep recommending it. Definitely worth checking out if you're exploring the vegan food scene in Los Angeles

Stopped by before our hike & man this food was absolutely delicious. The service was top tier & they made us feel like we were home. The Lahmajune Taco is like nothing I’ve had before, so I’d recommend that or the Chick’n bacon wrap for lunch. If you’re in the mood for breakfast, try the breakfast plate & sub for waffles!

Stopped for the first time and had one of the most pleasant experiences. Staff are amazing, friendly and super accommodating for the dog with my friend and I. We ordered breakfast burrito and McMoody for there and a cinnamon bun and feta puff pastry to go. Upon sitting down the team brought out a large dog bowl of water, what else could ya ask for?
Burrito was delightful, McMoody with spicy ketchup was just the right constancy. Sometimes vegan English muffins are bland and too chewy, not the case.
Will be going back soon to try their lunch menu!

I had the mc Moody and the tacos. They were good, but I recommend that you order them for breakfast, the portions are not that big.

Great people great food, I think East Hollywood is becoming the vegan Mecca. Please run don’t walk to this place and try the vegan croissants! Delicious!

I haven’t had a slice of blueberry coffee cake that heavenly ever. Don’t tell my grandma. And the Armenian Latte was transcendent. I will be making this a regular pit stop to start my day and afternoon pick me ups.

Amazing customer service. Some real nice folks here. Loved the food, especially the breakfast burrito. Latte and chai were alright. Will definitely eat here again when in the area. Tons of vegan pastries and entrees.

Come for the food, stay for the vibes. Mel and Alex (the owners) are incredibly sweet and know how to make the best vegan comfort food. I love their BLT, McMoody & Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. The Loaded or Garlic Fries are an absolute must. I’m so obsessed with their Birthday Cake Blondie that I actually ordered the whole sheet as a birthday cake one year 😋. Just go already! And be sure to try anything *Mel’s way*.
The owner is anything but moody, super nice and helpful with any questions. vibes are immaculate. The breakfast burrito was delicious!
