$27 for a bland tasting plate with a pathetic amount of meat, which I had to wait 20 minutes for? Are u joking? What is this ridiculous place? Why would anyone want to eat here? I could’ve gotten two plates at halal guys with that price. The menu was confusing and misleading too. I’m convinced they are still in business because they scam tourists that come here. I’m overall very disappointed.

First off parking is an issue unless you like to walk far and pay for parking. The inside had plenty of seating however, all the tables were dirty. We went around 8 PM on a Tuesday, so the dinner rush should've been over. There was one other table of people. Service was OK but not the quickest. The employee who took our order was friendly and answerrd our questions. The food was mediocre. Neither, my friend or I were impressed. I ordered a chicken sandwich and she ordered a Gyro plate. We will not be returning.

It's good outside and inside to some extent. The menu is confusing and crowded!I get a regular showerma sandwich and fries. The Fries quality...Shoooooot....burned and God knows what type of oil they used....Simple Shawerma and fries $20. Just simply go to the food court nearby and don't waste your money. eat healthier and better!

i do not recommend the the chicken Schwarma pita. Its taste is less than desirable. There's French fries in it, greasy questinable tasting "chicken" it was a promotion on Postmates and we threw the pita away and ate the Greek salad side.

Waited double the amount of time for the food that should’ve been ready for pick up. Noticing people in the restaurant getting their food before me.

Went here for lunch and haven't gone in a while. The crispy chicken panini I would definitely recommend! It was really good!!! And I really liked that they had a cucumber salad.

I ordered the lemon chicken wrap and Avgolemono soup. Yum! The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. The soup was so tasty. I've been on the west coast for a decade and gave up on finding good Greek food. Found it when I moved to DTLA. I'd post pics but... I ate it all!

Looking for a healthy option with ample portions? Look no further than George's Greek Grill.I was quite surprised how wonderful my lunch was. Flavorful Gyro wrap with an indulging salad. The only two recommendation is (1) to have the Gyro in pita bread instead of a flour wrap (2) include more cucumber garnish as it adds to the flavor and custom of Greek food.Plenty of seating inside and out. Conveniently located in front of the shopping of Target and Nordstrom Rack. The hostest was very warm and friendly. Her recommendation of trying the Super Wrap Gyro was spot on. Anything more would have been too much.Kid-friendliness: Small portions and kid prices for the smaller members of the family.

Empty when I walked in. Ordered the gyro with fries. Been here once a few years ago and remembered it was amazing. Today $20 for fries and sandwich, when I got to my office the fries turned to stone, and my gyro was pinkish inside, very much mystery meat. It did not taste right. Never again.

Last few times ive gone the food is still good but the price is getting crazy high. The chicken wrap is used to get for around $10 is now $17. With tax and a drink $25 lunch. Wont be going too often. Service still good so issues w that. Interior still same, plane and plastic chairs.

I had the pleasure of dining at George's Greek Grill, and it was an absolute delight. The service was outstanding, with a knowledgeable staff that helped us navigate the extensive menu. The food was a true masterpiece, with each dish showcasing the chef's expertise and passion for Greek cuisine. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it a wonderful place to relax and savor every bite. This restaurant has quickly become my favorite spot for Greek food in town.

Im a regular here and the food is good but tonight 11/21/23 I came here and ordered the quarter chicken meal with two sides as I always do, and I'm eating and when I cut open the chicken, I noticed that the inside meat look a little pink. I brought it to the young ladies attention who was the cashier and asked if the cook can re cook it slightly a little more and when she returned the chicken, it looked as if the cook put it in the deep fryer, it was all crispy looking and over cooked. I said I don't want this now and the young lady offer another piece but it would be the same as before and I said ok then when she bought me another piece it was half of what the first piece was and then I told her this is way smaller than the first piece and she said the cook had already threw out all the rest of the chicken for the night which I was odd considering that it was around 8:30pm and they close at 9pm. Not satisfied with the experience today.

DON'T GO HERE! Manager is SHADY! Go to Anwar's instead. On Thursday 11/9, I went here and ordered a gyro entree and extra gyro meat. The woman was super nice. This wasn't my first time here. In all my years of living in dtla I have been here a ton, sometimes multiple days in a week so i know what their food tastes like. I also order the same thing everytime. Usually the food is on point but tonight for some reason the food was extra salty and greasy specifically the Gyro meat.I had ordered a to-go order so unfortunately I did not realize until I arrived at home. It was so salty it was inedible. I called right away.the woman I had ordered from answered. I explained and she told me it may be based on personal taste, I told her I like salty food and this was not a personal taste the food was so salty you can't eat it. I also eat there often so I know the food. Then she said they probably switched meat providers and said she would talk to the manager she took my info and let me know the manager will call me tomorrow. I asked if I should bring the food or what should I do with it. She told me no and that the manager would call me.Of course, they did not. I called in the morning on Friday. The gentleman I spoke with said he spoke with the woman and spoke with the manager and that the manager knows what they are going to do and will call me today. I said ok because i have the food and I can bring it. Je said the mansger will call me(lowkey left that phone call thinking that was the manager)Waited for the call, still nothing. I am about to travel so I called again in late afternoon and the other woman that worked there actually did the most to try to help. I wasn't able to come down anymore that evening but I offered to bring it Saturday morning as I didn't want it to rot in my fridge while I'm gone. She took my info called the manager to see if she could refund me so I didn't need to come down maybe I could just send a photo. The manager that was supposed to call me and resolve it, but just didn't and they don't work weekends. The manager told her that because I did not bring the food back the same day I couldn't get a refund, I could only get a credit. Normally, that would be totally fine but I am moving out of the state in less than a month. I also told the woman that I had asked the person on Thursday night if I should bring it back and was told NO and the gentlemen I spoke to that supposedly spoke to the manager and the woman from Thursday did not tell me to bring it back either. She explained that the woman from Thursday was new. Which explains a lot because she got my order wrong but it happens and I am not one to complain when something like that happens on a take away order. The woman from Friday said she will call the manager back so they can call me directly to get this resolved. I said that works this isn't your fault and thank you for trying to help. Please let the manager know I will be waiting by my phone. It is about 730 pm at this point. Did I get a call....nope. It is Saturday 11/11 after 3pm PST have I gotten a call...NOPE and unfortunately I leave for a trip soon. This manager is just shady and obviously the food has gone down hill so save yourself the time, effort and energy. There is Anwar's nearby which has better food, better service and apparently better management.I rarely leave reviews but since you are making me waste $35.00 I can at least save someone else the money.I will keep reposting this review so everyone can be aware of the shady Manager at George's that won't fix a loyal customers issue.

Really awesome Greek food! Had the Chicken Shawarma wrap, was super filling for not an insane cost given it's in DTLA (7th @ fig). The chicken was juicy and high quality. Awesome service as well! Will be coming again for sure!!
