Best sandwich shop I've ever tried.

Three trips to Grand Central Market:
Twice they haven't been open when the signs said (we're talking past 9:15a) and the third time they had to do a bunch of substitutions because they didn't have the ingredients.

This is BY FAR one of my favorite sandwich spots in Los Angeles!

Everything about the sandwiches here is absolutely perfect - from the perfectly crunchy dutch bread, to the generous toppings and ingredients in each sandwich that is both filling and yet also not overpowering in any way.

It's an unassuming exterior for the most part - but within, the seating is ample for anyone wishing to dine-in.

I've also experienced nothing but the BEST service and friendliness on all of my visits to this establishment.

They have both hot & cold sandos, although my personal favorite remains their main staple - 'The Melrose'!
Delectably delicious with plenty of creaminess, flavor, and texture. Nothing overpowers other ingredients.
I love that!!

When in the LA area, I highly recommend making a stop at the Ghost Sando Shop!

Food is fire, but they’re con artists. For the longest time they were giving people smaller subs for their BOGO deal, literally half-sized sandwiches labeled as large. They’ve tried to fix it, but it’s still not a real Buy One Get One. The same sandwich costs $16 on the regular menu, but if you want the BOGO, they raise the price to $23.60. So you’re basically paying extra just to “get one free.”.

I will be reporting this deceptive sales tactic to the FTC, and the false advertising to the state of California.

The atmosphere is cool ,a very small shop but a cool vibe. The sandwich is good I ordered a tuna sandwich and a soda. They have 3 different sizes of sandwiches, I got a large Sandwich. It's like an upgraded subway.

I don't enjoy writing these but I felt the need to warn others about the recent scam this place is running. I used to order sandwiches here all the time off UberEats. The melrose and pastrami ones were my favorite. They always had the special buy one get one free. But lets be honest the sandwiches were marked up to $26 for one sandwich. With the deal it came out to about $40 for two sandwiches which is reasonable and fair. The sandwiches were always big and loaded with meat. Last night I decided to order the special and the first thing I noticed was it came out to $30, $35 with tip and what arrived at my door was beyond disappointing. Two half sandwiches that were so tiny and unfilled. I ate the first one in three bits and the next one right after just to be full. This was $35!!! Shame on them, I will never order here again. You trick your customers, you lose them. I hope no one else falls for this scam. Smh

What an absolute rip off. 2 sandwiches the smallest size they make, a bag of chips and one drink was $50.00 Yes- I said $50.00. We both got Build Your Own Sandwiches- base price starts at $10 which gives you the bun, lettuce, tomato, and mustard or mayo. You pay extra for the meat, cheese, sauce, etc. Neither of us had a lot of add ons and the bill was $50. The sandwich was fine- not a huge amount of meat for the price, we asked for salt for the sandwiches- they don’t have any. The girl I asked for salt was on the rude side. We definitely won’t come back. What a disappointment for Chargers Common.
