My new favorite breakfast/ lunch spot! Wish I came here sooner! The plantain breakfast is so delicious! I can't recommend this place enough!

Just fantastic! Café de Olla, chilaquiles, home made tortillas, fluffy pancakes with fresh cream and fruit . Everything - including service - top notch !! The owner is the chef and the love just pours out of the food!

So I didn't want to like this place but I did. I saw mixed reviews and I was not looking forward try this restaurant. To my surprise I was impressed by their quality and most importantly their taste. We tried the French Toast, wow, so delicious, I don't get caught in sweat breakfast but this one is a must try. The chilaquiles are so yummy too, yes it's true not spicy but it has a good taste, if you want spicy salsa they have it on side. The cafe de olla has mixed emotions for me because the first cup was delicious but the second had an aftertaste like soap?? They were playing the best music, I was feeling it, check it out. The service was great but to be honest it was not busy so that might play into the experience. I'm super glad I went on a weekday. Parking- there no parking, we had to park on a side street and walk to them. I'll come back and try something else on the menu.

My family and I always come here for brunch. The food is pretty tasty, reasonably priced, and they have great service. Parking has always been pretty easy and it's never packed so no need to worry about reservations. They have a lot of options on the menu so your bound to find something you like and the ambiance is laid back so it's nice for a peaceful morning.

Our favorite place for brunch, the servers are always very friendly, the wait could be long depending on the day. We eat in during the week and take out on the weekends.

This is one of the best brunch places in LA! Their meal plates is one for the books. Coffee is served fresh and the staff are friendly! The plantain was good and it reminds me so much of my home county, Philippines. We eat fried or boiled bananas for breakfast. Thus including plantain in the dish made me appreciate their food more. I want to visit again soon!

I've been coming to Gloria's for years now and I have to say the food has always been perfect. It truly is the best breakfast/lunch place that HLP has to offer. It's super clean, the staff is always great and food is perfect. I look forward to many more breakfasts at Gloria's.

Gloria's easily has some of the best food in Highland Park. It's kind of a hole-in-the-wall type of spot, but everything is just so fresh and delicious. Honestly, I haven't tried too many things on the menu because, once I ordered the Huevos Ahogados, I really can't imagine getting anything else. In my opinion, it's the perfect plate of breakfast food and the kind of thing that you just can't replicate at home. Expect a long wait on the weekends, but it's entirely worth it for their hand made tortillas alone-- they're the best in town! The pancakes and burrata toast are also fantastic. I highly doubt that anything on the menu would be a disappointment!

Came here this weekend for lunch. First time here, waiter asked us to write our name on wait list which they have outside. Wrote my name on wait list, there were two people ahead of us. People ahead of us were called to be seated, we (husband & I) patiently waited outside as other people arrived and signed in as well. The waiter skipped us and gave a table to a white couple who had just arrived & clearly showed up after us. The waiter scratched their name off the list and went inside. Husband & I just looked at each other like what just happened! I got up to confirm if maybe I had overlooked their names on wait list, but nope that wasn't the case! Our name was still not crossed off and clearly skipped! I went inside and kindly asked waiter why he had skipped us, I told him I just wanted to know if there was a reason and he pretended that he did not understand my clear question, which I repeated to him a couple of times. All he said was that the wait time was about 15 min. I don't know why this waiter did this I don't know if it was a racial thing or what! What I do know is that it was clearly not a mistake or an overlook. This type of behavior specially coming from our raza is very sad! Management please train your employees to treat every person that walks in equally & with respect! Btw my husband also went to waiter to ask for explanation, waiter responded well they asked to be seated outside, my husband responded, well nobody ever asked us where we wanted to be seated! It's just shameful!

Best cafe de olla I’ve had! Iced or hot ?And ALL the food is amazing! It may seem pricey but the quality & quantity are worth it.Try chilaquiles, churro waffle or any breakfast dish to be blown away.

The 2 waitresses are rude, unless you're white or someone they know, you don't get acknowledged. We love this place and will only come back for their food. They need kinder servers.

Pancakes were really good, red chilaquiles were not authentic. The salsa was tomato sauce.
