Consistently one of the best cups of the coffee in LA. They always have two different single origins on drip, and if you have it to stay you get unlimited refills. Also, now if you buy a bag of beans you get a free coffee. Food is decent too, though I wish they’d bring back their congee! Service has always been good for me. In general I prefer their ROW location as it’s low key one of the nicest outdoor cafes in LA.

The reviews for GGET (Go Get 'Em Tiger) suggest that the experience can be hit or miss in terms of customer service. Fortunately, during my recent visit, I had a very positive experience. I ordered a single origin Honduran espresso and a cookie, both of which were wonderful, although I recommend warming up the cookie slightly for an even better taste. The space is spacious and filled with natural light, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The barista who assisted me was friendly and helpful, which contradicts some of the negative reviews I had read beforehand.

Great service, wonderful espresso. Cool shop. They even served a little black tea spritzer instead of sparkling water with the espresso.

I’m giving credit to this place for adding wifi. For a while, there was no wifi because the row’s free wifi signal did not reach that far. The reason why I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because they have a habit of not having mobile order drinks ready on time. I usually go to the row once every 3 weeks to get my nails done, or get a facial. If you place a mobile order when there is a line of people, they are going to clear the line first before making your drink. I’ve noticed this when there are at least two people making coffee. You’d think one person would continue working the line while the other person makes the mobile order. And that’s if they even see the order. The system that notifies them of mobile orders is not right next to the register. There have been times where I’ve arrived and they hadn’t seen my order. A reviewer also mentioned a female barista. I think I know who this person is talking about. The last time my mobile order wasn’t ready 5 minutes past the pick-up time, I brought it to the attention of one of the guys making the drinks. He told her that there was a mobile order that hadn’t been made. She looked at me and told him to get to the people in line first.

The reviews seem to indicate that a visit to this gget (go get ‘em tiger) is a game of customer service Russian roulette. Luckily this last time I went, it was an overly positive experience. I got a single origin Honduran espresso and a cookie. The coffee was wonderful, as was the cookie, though I’d suggest that they be heated up slightly. The space is large and bright, and the barista that helped me was nice enough; so not as bad as the reviews lead to believe.

Only here for a week and this spot has made it to my number one ‘go-to’ every morning for their incredible b.e.c.’s and refreshing iced tea. Staff is friendly and the space is chill and upbeat.

I used to stop in to Go Get Em Tiger multiple times per week, as I had started a new job around the corner from this location. I was excited to become a regular at a shop so close to my new workplace and start my mornings off on a positive note.

The first time I came here I ordered a simple black coffee and tipped well, so I was confused when the staff were rude and pushy with me. However, as someone who works in customer service, I brushed it off and figured it could have been a busy shift, an off day, or even maybe that I imagined it. And trust me when I say, I rarely leave negative reviews because truly, I get it.

HOWEVER, almost every time I have returned, I am met with hostile, nasty, and downright rude treatment by the baristas, one girl specifically. It totally ruins that part of my day. Picking up a coffee is a part of my morning routine that I look forward to, so really want to keep going to this shop, and I feel like I've tried everything to get on their good sides. But unfortunately I've had to change my go-to shop to Cafe Dulce, which I recommend to anyone reading this. (Cafe Dulce treats their customers well and as a bonus, the drink menu there is more diverse!!)

All of this I was willing to let go and write off as a missed connection, oh well. Some people just don't get along, it happens. But, the final factor that disgusted me enough to finally leave this review: A vendor that my company hires stopped in to GGET earlier and reported back to me that the girl working on bar this morning gave her a ton of attitude and was disrespectful throughout their entire interaction. I hate to say that I can guess who this particular barista was.
I'm horrified that one of my vendors was treated like this and honestly, I'm upset that the staff here continues to be so inconsiderate and insensitive with every customer that walks through their doors.

Go Get Em, once a rightfully glorified shop, once known for their warm hospitality, once praised for amazing beverages and provisions, has fallen from grace to become a total vibe killer at the ROW DTLA and an overall disappointment.

Have been a regular of this location for years, the coffee is good, the food is good, but the service here is incredible. Every one who works here brings a positive experience to my mornings.

So why one star? Recently Go Get Em Tiger employees unionized and upper management has started using common union-busting tactics and terminating sympathetic supervisors who are not protected by the NLRB.

I can’t in good conscience support or recommend a business that is union busting or retaliating against employees.

My hope and recommendation is that the upper management resign and are replaced with people who understand the best way forward is to try and build a collaborative relationship with the union.

The cafe is super cute and has a fun vibe. The service was alright, nothing spectacular. Quick service and very business like.
I got the tumeric almond macadamia latte. It’s very tumeric and gingery but it’s such a small amount for $7.

Ordered a “protein” brekkie (thinking it would be a good post work out meal). Half the plate was kale, one strip of bacon sliced in 4, and small portion of scrambled eggs for $15. I ate the kale with heavy feelings. Cute place though.
