Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.

To be understood to keep around Happy Hour pricing under $20.00 and before/ thereafter depending but not to exceed $30.00 also cleanliness service and all other matters. Went on a Saturday when they had a DJ and the ambiance was great! Drinks are well priced and strong. DJ was spinning good music all night and the doorman wasn't allowing the place to get too over crowded.

Simple, small, and laid back place. I came here with family and the bartender and local were very friendly and welcoming. Prices for shots and beer was unbelievably reasonable for LA. Honestly worth the stop if you’re coming in just for a couple of drinks.

Nothing is golden about this bar and quite frankly, it’s nothing but fools gold when you walk into this slugfest! The waiters attempt to pressure you to vote! Vote! Vote! For Joe Exotic 2024 and I’m just stunned by this crazy rhetoric by these people, It’s just astonishing yet terrifying. That wasn’t even the worst part about my experience at the, “Gold Room” as my Biden 2024 T-shirt was seen by the waiters while I was eating my food. Now keep this in mind, the waiters loved Joe exotic while on the other hand, I was rooting for team Biden. Tempers flared between the waiters and me, which caused a huge brawl to break out.

The two stars are for the renovated Gold Room.Edit: since the last review i have been there once more and my opinion has changed drastically. Definitely still a good spot to go and enjoy a few drinks before, during or after a dodger game.
