Goldburger Highland Park

I've been wanting to come here for some time. Finally made it.

I ordered the California Classic Burger (double patty) and my wife got the Goldburger (single patty), but with their slices of bread, not a bun.. We also got curly fries.

My first bit affirmed why I made the drive here. It was a classic burger with fresh (and highly drippy) patties. The pickles, onions and lettuce were just right.

The curly fries were curly fries.. but good.

They have an outdoor patio and there was a fan, but it was still hot on the patio.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it well satisfied my burger craving!

Hamburger is very fresh and taste so good curly fries are tender and they also taste fresh and delicious.

Probably one of my favorite smash burger places in LA. I've had their LA special with pastrami version which is amazing. The pastrami was very tender and not fatty at all. It went well with the burger. I recently had the gold burger with curly fries and it was excellent. The burger had a nice char and the carmelization of the patty was perfect. The curly fries was very fresh and good. Good texture and good amount of seasoning.

The staff was quick and nice and quick to guide you to the restroom and other amenities. The decor was super nice with plants hung over their establishment as a way to show that they care about their space. This is a gem in eagle rock but I'm also excited they posted up in Chinatown too and expect the same quality.

The gress-fed beef patty was great—juicy with perfectly crispy edges. Fries were solid but nothing out of the ordinary. My only real critique is the bun; it didn’t quite match the quality of their flavorful grass-fed beef. A more thoughtfully sourced or artisanal bun could really elevate the whole experience. Staff was hospitable and welcoming.

Advertised kids burger says $7 but when i ordered it, it came out to $9 because i added lettuce, grilled onions and sauce.
What usually comes in a burger.
An extra $2 charge for onions and lettuce......

First time here and im never coming back just because of that. I dont get it.

Theyre also playing heavy metal in the eating area so the ambiance is adding to my frustration

Been wanting to try this place out being a burger afficianado and reading the reviews. It did not disappoint. I dont usually like to give to hipster spots in now gentrified areas they've invaded with attitudes they bring but, this place is a rule to that exception this time & their food is amazing here.
I went with the Goldburger (add+ Pastrami), Fries & Craft Soda (Ginger Ale).
Perfectly Juicy Burger without creating a soggy fall apart bun, which held its texture consistently thoughout and the juices did not overpower the flavorful meat, cheese & pastrami. The bun had a very nice clean taste and texture, a job well done they do here.
Restaurant, Tables, Floors, Sidewalk, Unisex Restroom very clean and didn't have any lame Pronoun Verbiage. Kitchen looked very clean.
Friendly, Helpful Staff want to please their guests. None seem lazy and they keep themselves busy with work.
DON'T FORGET TO TIP for their Service they earned.

I do a smash burger about once a month. Im not a big fan of red meat but this place has the best smash burger in town. Plus all the beef is grass fed. So if your gonna eat it, eat grass fed. It's healthier and tastes better.
